Question What backgrounds are a must have before they retire?

I know we have the special going on, and I do plan on ordering 3. But I'm concerned with which ones will retire. I don't want to regret not getting one. As I have in the past. What do you think of Simple Stripes, Weathered (even though I have Antique Crackling) and or Linograph? Are any of these must haves? Please let me know what you think.

My all time favorite is Linen. I'm not a fan of linograph or cross hatch or floral, but LOTS of folks loves those. Hang out in the galleries and get inspired.

since you're asking ........... Lithograph just not me, weathered I have & really like it, its easy to use, just turns out looking nice, but hey, if you have the antique crackling, I wouldn't bother. I really like simple stripes but have managed to suppress the urge to order it since I have the retired ticking.

But I think you right to look at some of the "older" bg's as far as possibly making the retiring list!

My best recommendation is to look at the galleries for these background stamps and see what inspires YOU. We all have our own personal styles and personal favourites. I personally find the linograph fun as I like that whole retro feel, but obviously that isn't everyone's "thing". I can't say that I use it as much as others I have, but I love it. Others feel similarly about their own personal favourites. If you know someone that has some of these BG stamps, you might consider getting together to "play" with them a while to see if you get inspired.

I would definately put Linen on that order. It is a must have! It's in the Spring mini and may not make the big catty in the summer.
