Does anyone have any suggestions for a fall wedding invitation. Actually, it will be a traditional Celtic handfasting on October 31st, 2008. I love the fall foliage stamps from stampin up. The wedding cake will be four "pumpkins" one on top of each other decorated with fall colored leaves.
how about pumpkin pie, blush blossom, always artichoke and perhaps brown. My new favorite stamp set is baroque motifs, the swirl looks divine with pumpkins and leaves. have fun and good luck~
I just saw in Paper Wishes catalog (www.paperwishes.com) a fold-it paper punch that makes a Celtic Knot.
I'm sure if you go on their website and look under punches you'll find it.
Good luck!!
I just finished 35 baby announcements for my neighbor!
hi leslie, having made so much stuff for my own wedding i have a few suggestions...i found envelopemall.com to have the best prices on the paper itself, and they carry the stardream metallic cardstock at a much lower cost than papersource. they have a variety of the funky enclosure type cards there too.
Here are the fall wedding invitations that I did for my daughter's wedding about three years ago. We used that copper shimmery cardstock and cut them out ourselves. They have them already precut in this CS but they were like $1.50 each! So.....we decided to do it ourselves. Sure wish I had my Score-It when we did them, would have made it much nicer.

Love the idea of pumpkins with that swirl...and using copper ep maybe on the swirl would be gorgeous...

If you used baroque motifs, the word CHERISH would be perfect. Perhaps you could use some thin gold cord (or embrod. floss) which looks divine with fall colors. I would wrap whatever you choose three times (great symbolism!) and perhaps attach a charm or cut out stamp in a leaf or pumpkin.
