Oh, I signed up and then just realized that I gave SU an awful lot of info about myself that I wish I hadn't. Not a slam against SU, just against me for not thinking before hitting the enter button. You have to give your income AND classify yourself as beginner, intermediate, or advanced stamper!!!! I mean the income is iffy, but having to characterize my stamping was painful!! LOL

I called SU! about a letter I also received (like many bloggers and demos with websites did today) and this is a total scam... do not click on any of the links or give them your personal information! Instead; if you receive the email you can forward it to [email protected] This is the email....

Is there some way to get the other thread deleted so people don't keep signing up?? I noticed someone posted they did even after you posted your warning.
THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! I just called SU about it!!!! Do not participate!!! Only bloggers received this email and it is not legitimate!!! PLEASE!!!!
It is NOT a scam... I talked to the guy personally from the marketing firm and was given THE person to talk to from SU! corporate office to confirm. He asked me NOT to give out those phone number to SU! but if you'd like to call Staramaze, I'd be happy to give you the number and the contact person at SU! Most likely, DS is not aware of this program.

I got the same email you did and decided not to call the number listed but to call SU! directly with the number I have and know and confirm the information in the email.
I am so sorry but I called SU and gave them the URL above... they spoke to IT/complience while I held and said that the Contact information was bogus and the emloyee listed on the email was not an SU! emloyee and that they never use independent research firms because they have thier own firm.
Just going by what I have been told by Stampin' Up! What else can I say! This isn't your fault Cambria! The email and the website looks very legitamate.... did anyone who doesn't have a blog/website get this email???
Crud. I used DH's info for it. No CC #s or anything, just email, home address and phone number.
Melissa,
If Cami talked to someone at SU! I believe her that it is not a scam. I was trying to figure out what they could obtain by the info they asked for, not anything different than your basic survey from just about anywhere or anything, at the onset anyway.

But they listed a number for us to call... not SU!'s official number listed on their website... just because they answer the phone "stampin' Up!" doesn't mean it is Stampin' Up!
I feel bad; but I am standing my ground here... I have to got with what 1-800-stamp-up tells me!
Yes.. I spoke the guy that sent me the email from Volt Marketing, and I called the number he provided to me for corporate office. I got the SU! corporate recording that they were closed and to call back Monday. All the numbers were legit.... and he told me personally that it is not a hoax. If it is a hoax, the survery is certainly set up to look very professional.
