With the negative threads that have been a downer lately I wanted to see if I could start a thread that is positive!
Do you have a creation that you are super proud of?? Post a link to the pic in your gallery and tell us why you love it. It doesn't have to be something recent. (I think HappyHeart started a thread comparable to this awhile back.)
Hopefully, this will generate some positive comments and get people in a better mood. (Give the mods a break too!)
I haven't had the opportunity to stamp in a couple of weeks, so this is from a few months ago. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
It isn't anything impressive, but I like planning ahead for my projects which I couldn't do for a VSN challenge. I was literally throwing things all over the place and making a royal mess and actually can up with something I liked!
I'm quite proud of this 50th birthday pocket card and bookmark I made using Roses in Winter - they were a big hit! I decorated the inside of the card to match and I also stamped the lady's name on the card/envelope:
K, I am impressed with your gallery, too! I love your use of bright colors. So refreshing.
This is my favorite creation in my gallery.Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
It is the second name frame I made for my oldest DD, and it so perfectly suited her personality and interests. I struggled with every little detail and spent so many hours on it, but the surprise for Christmas was worth it. She loves it, and I smile every time I see it on her wall. I hope she will always treasure it for the love that went into creating it for her. (I like the one I did for my youngest DD, too, but this one is more my style!)
Becky I love your name frame. I could only wish mine would come out that nice.
I have not done much stamping lately because of school but this one of my favorite things I have made in the past. This is a paint can gift set I made for a bridal shower. I really like RIW and I was happy with how this turned out. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here's one that I just love that didn't get much interest...I think in part due to the fact that it was a terrible, dark picture. I just edited the photo and made it much easier to see, so I am hoping people like it more now.
This is from awhile ago, but it is still one of my favorites! I made all the women in my family these ornaments for Christmas 2 years ago. Now each year they all looking forward to getting a new ornament from me
If you want to see some of my older cards, or any others for that matter, click on "Get sprinkled with pixie dust" in my signature...thats my whole gallery.
Thanks for the fun, positive thread, Stampinsweeney!
I checked out your gallery and love your use of bright, vibrant colors! I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like to on this website, which is probably true for many of us who work outside of the home, so I know I miss a lot of posted items.
I Finally did my first Challenge after lurking for months. I used new CTMH stamps & paper. I am proud of my first challenge!
I did rock n roll tech & dazzling diamond dust tech. first time for all 3! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

How do you make that pocket card? I haven't done much with templates. I have the SU mini envelope template but it isnt on that (I dont think).
Is there a template for that on SCS?
It is so pretty! Thanks for sharing!

I just make a regular card and fold back the end by about 1 - 1 1/2 ". and then double side tape the inside on the sides. I hope that explains. I know there is a better description somewhere else.
Under the challenges it was Sketch Challenge 45 if you can look that up it gives a better description!
Wow - I'm loving this. So many beautiful pieces of art that I would have missed.
Attached is my current favorite. I made it for my mom's 65th Birthday, which is today!! I have high school photos of her dancing the cancan, in costume, and immediately thought of her when I saw this stamp. I made her promise to never throw it away and to will it back to me! LOL Unfortunately, the scan just doesn't do it justice. The H2O's give the whole background a shimmer you just can't see here. I love my H2O's!!
