Someone said they'd like to see a post on VINTAGE EASTER IMAGES! So, does ANYONE like VINTAGE EASTER IMAGES????? WHERE do you get them? HOW do you use them? Do you use Stamps or found Images??? Would LOVE to see your creations!!!!!!!
Whenever I am looking for vintage images, I go to The Graphic Fairy. She has some beautiful stuff! I don't think she has much in the way of Easter yet, but you can do a search on her blog and it will bring up previous posts that have to do with Easter. HTH!
Thanks Emily!!!!! I haven't seen too much on Graphic Fairy yet either! I DO KNOW, some blogs are BUSY getting the Easter stuff out there NOW!!!!! Sometimes, I don't work as far ahead as I need to on projects! And seeing it out there helps me get going!!!!!! Thanks!
I have been looking just in the last couple of days for this very thing! The Graphics Fairy is GREAT, and yes, there are several Easter images. I also searched Etsy for Vintage Easter Postcards printables. I liked those even BETTER! And for only a couple of dollars, you can get several in one spot, like 6 to a page once you download it, or already sized in circles, domino size and ATC size. Have fun!
I found some more free image resources for you! The first site already has some Easter images up. Maybe check back on the other two, as they will probably start to showcase more soon.
They do eat your printer ink, but I have found it is cheaper than perusing antique shops and malls for the real thing. I would then end up with lots of old postcards and cards that I just didn't like. This way I only print what I love and can do multiples of the same image.
Are you looking for images to color yourself or are you looking for colored graphics?
Whenever I need something I don't already have I just search google images for <insert word here> coloring pages. So for vintage easter images I'd just search for "Vintage Easter Coloring Pages" or "Victorian Easter Graphics" brings up awesome colored images.
Sorry TLady. Your post is a bit lost in translation for me (do you realise that typing in capitals is the forum version of shouting?) I'm not sure if you are excited or angry.
I don't have time to post anything at the moment but at post #7 there was a comment about where to get more images from.
I thought you meant images to colour, hence I added Free Vintage Digi Stamps. Or was the 'someone' who wanted to see more Pamela?
And Stampindamour, I take it you are the same Pamela as Free Vintage Digi. If so, I have spent many hours gazing at your site. Thank you for the candy.

Thanks KoffeeKat! I am so flattered to hear that you love FVDS...
Just to let EVERYONE know, TweetyJill has some SUPER rubber stamps for Vintage Easter! AND Stampendous has some REALLY SWEET Vintage Chickie stamps!!!!!!!!!! (There's three of them!!!!!! ) Even if I get a SUPER image to use from off the internet, I like to have complimentary rubber stamps to use with the image itself on the card OR on the envelope!
LOL! I knew that your capitals were shouts of excitement and not anger. I think most of the time on this forum the "capitalized shouting" is most always because we are enthused and excited about our hobby! ;)
Thanks for all of the wonderful vintage image references. LOVE this!
I like this set for vintage Easter images (they're not digital; they're clear photopolymer stamps): Gallery - Category: SM24 Happy Easter
But they will be going to all digital soon, unless they find another company to continue producing their physical stamp sets. (I think)

Where?? I did go to Stampindamour to look for it, but couldn't find it. Do you have a link? I only looked at clear stamps though. Maybe you were talking about decorative paper or something else? I want to see it; I like her stamps.
I'm GLAD you found it SophieLaFontaine!!!! You know what I do? I subscribe to BOTH StampindAmour AND The Free Vintage Digital Stamps Blog too! Then when I get one or the other I just mossy around!!!!!!!!!

I have a card for you all, using a VINTAGE IMAGE from StampindAmour!!!!!!!! Problem is, UPLOADING! I guess you can't use the little sidebar on the left to do that if it isn't a SU! So, I'm WAITING to hear back on how to do that! The computer ACTUALLY isn't "my thing!" I put the instructions in a folder on my computer & can't find it now! :/ SOON, I'll have this new card up for you to see!!!!!
Yes you can! It doesn't have to be SU! at all!
Click on "Upload a Card". Then find the photo of your card on your computer using "browse". Then if you want, type in some information in the fields (blank boxes). Click "Upload". Then it'll bring you to a second screen with more fields, which you can fill out if you want. Then if you're not a fan club member, you just wait for moderator approval (they just have to verify that it's not spam/porn).
These instructions are from memory, so I might've missed something...
