Default Video about unmounting, and stamping image with StazOn onto cling foam?

A few days ago, I found a thread here that talked about the never-ending topic of unmounting SU woodmount stamp sets. There was a video that showed how to stamp the image with Stazon onto the cling foam before pulling the rubber off the woodmount stamp. She stamped the image with Stazon, pulled the rubber off the stamp, cut around the image stamped onto the cling foam, then put the rubber onto the foam. It was a very cool video, and makes it easier to have the image on there, without going to the trouble of using the actual sticker from the wood block, then using TIO&O.

I've spent about an hour searching my History, and searching You Tube and searching SCS and I can't find it!!

Can you help?? I'd be forever grateful! :-)

Thanks for this thread! I might just do some converting now that I've seen the tutorial!

I found a series of videos on Youtube by Stampsomefun on converting wood stamps to cling using clear vinyl that you get at the fabric store. I used her method on some sets and have been really pleased.

Thanks for posting this video - I just watched it and it has me thinking about unmounting my stamps now. She makes it look so simple that anyone can do it. Thanks again.

This is great! Mary Fish used a hot knife to cut her cling-mount foam with. So combining the two would really make your unmount stamps look really professional!

Here is a link to her video:

I also found another video to convert your wood mounted stamps. It would be cheaper too than having to buy the cling mount foam especially if you have a lot of stamps to convert. Here is the link to Rebecca's video Re-Mounting Wood Blocks.wmv - YouTube

Thanks for all the replies to this thread! I'm a little scared of the "hot knife" technique because I haven't had any real success with the simple craft knife! <G>
