Do these refills fit into the regular mono holders? I went to Viking.com and found them but they don't look like the refills I normally order and it says (purple) after the name. Does this mean the actual mono is purple? Help!
I have ordered from Viking a couple of times, and as far as I know I have an e-mail address on file with them, but I do not get any discount codes by e-mail and cannot find a place on their site where I can change that preference if I did opt to not receive e-mail. I have received a few coupons via snail mail, but none of the item discounts that get posted here.

Me too, Rachel!!! I have received a few emails here and there from them, but never discount codes like mentioned here, and never 20.00 off coupons like some of the ladies were talking about a few weeks back. I did get an email today giving me a code for a free duffel bag if I spent 25.00 or more, but I don't have anything that I absolutely NEED right now from there.

Me and my honey. Aren't we cute?!
I asked the same question before I ordered! Then I bit the bullet and ordered 20 refills and they do fit the mono dispenser that Stampin Up sells/sold.
Thank goodness - ha!
"Purple" might refer to the color of the strip along the side of the package where it says ADHESIVE Permanent Refill.
I kept trying to order the mono refill at $1.88 yesterday with no luck. I finally called them and they told me the price has gone up. I just figured my luck has run out. Why do they keep changing the codes? This whole Viking thing has me confused.
Yes How do you get these discount codes? When you look at the web site they are a totally different price. I did get the Prismacolor pencils for $40 and the refills for $1.88 after a very kind person posted the codes on Saturday. I just want to know where you get the discount codes in the first place. Thanks
Most of the time it is from this site we get them. A few of us, every once in awhile, will get an email from the company after you have ordered from them, with a sale and they did this on Tues with me. I got the new code for the refills $1.88. Now the last time they sent me that deal was about 3 months ago. I get email from them all the time with sales, but only once in awhile with the refills listed on the page.
So if I need them inbetween that time, I just post a request for new codes and someone always has them somewhere in the country.
This may seem like a very silly question, but I have never ordered through Viking before. Do you order the premanent or temporary adhesive? Also, do the refills fit the SU product? Thanks for your help!
