Hello! I'm just wondering if anyone has joined UStamp with Dawn and Friends (http://www.ustampwithdawn.blogspot.com/). I saw a sample of one of their products but I'm wondering if the $25 is money well spent for a month of project ideas. Are the majority of the projects found in the tutorials on SCS? I'd love your input on this! Thanks!
I just joined this group and so far all of the projects have been great. Very detailed instructions with photos. A couple of the projects I've seen something similar on the internet but for the most part most of the projects I hadn't seen.
Yes, they use only SU! products. UStamp with Dawn and Friends is made up of SU! Demonstrators from several different countries. The home page gives a whole list of SU! products which are used throughout everyone's projects. This gives you the chance to make sure you have all or most of the supplies you need to get started re-creating right away!!
I just found out about this, and paid my money, tonight. I have never taken any of their classes before, so I am very excited. Can't wait to get my 'invite' to the classroom.
I took their last class U stamp Holiday 2009. The project instructions were very detailed for anyone to follow along, but for me as a seasoned paper crafter, I found them a bit under me, only one really hit my fancy that I would like to duplicate into gifts. I am not saying it is not a good place to learn things, I am just saying pending your crafting level and your type, it may or may not be for you. ALSO if you are doing it for classes to teach your people, you have to realize that they may or may not be into the kind of stuff you get from the online classes. Very cute projects tho!!
