Default Using Christmas Scraps

I am trying to use up all the scraps I have left over from making Christmas cards. These are some of the tags I've come up with. If you have other unique ideas please post them. Jill Attachment 372980

I cut some of my giftwrap into A2 size that I plan to use as layers. They are solid metallics. Actually they were terrible as wrap b/c scotch tape would not hold them-I had to use packing tape! So I wont be doing that again.

I'm embarrassed to say that I actually ended up with MORE Christmas scraps because I snagged some used gift wrap that I liked for card fronts. My daughter buys really gorgeous wrap, and I just can't handle throwing it away. My granddaughters are always asking, "Does Grammie want this paper?" when they unwrap gifts, ha! I used leftover paper from my stash to make envelopes, tags (always my favorite way to use it because you can even use small bits), and this year I made a few bookmarks.

I used an 8x8 pad of christmas paper for cards this year which had to be cut down to size for card fronts.  The paper was from the same pad which meant the strips left over coordinated nicely so I then used them to make card fronts.  I simply lined them up going down the front of my card, place a focal point and greeting label over my created base and ta da!  They came out almost better that the simpler single cardstock cards.  I hope this made sense, I didn't take any pics before sending them out.

I am out of gift tags so will be using more cut offs to make tags as well.  They will be for next years presents, thanks for jogging my memory to make them before we pack up everything up and put it away.
