Default Uses for wood blocks?

Maybe there's an old thread that talks about this, but I couldn't find it. :-)

I sold a bunch of unmounted sets, and the buyer didn't want the wood blocks. What can I do with these wood blocks besides toss them in the wood stove next winter? Is there a "market" for them?

Thanks for your wisdom.

I'd love to see ideas- I have tons of stripped wood blocks.

I made a remote holder once; glued them together and painted it. I also made a holder for my ATG gun with them. I'll see if I can find some links to previous discussions.

I made gifts using the medium and small blocks for FALL and SNOW. I need to make some LOVE ones. Chose 4 blocks, paint the flat ends of the blocks with color of your choice, wrap the "curvy" part of the wood with patterned paper (I used 4 different coordinating paper) and then add the appropiate letter. Can't figure out how to add a pic.

I have two blocks from background stamps glued together, former rubber side to former rubber side, and keep it on my desk. Any time something needs held flat, I just slip it underneath for a bit. If something is really warped, I mist it with water and then put it underneath for several hours or overnight. The plastic sticker showing the stamp image resists the moisture and does not seem to pick up inks.
