Urgent! Paint Cans - Where to Buy?

I'm putting together a gift can for a friend having her 1st baby (after trying for 6 YEARS!!!) Her shower is Sat. Morning (it's Thursday night - I know, I'm a procrastinator), so I don't have time to drive all over town to find the best place/price to buy one - I'm looking for the regular gallon-size.

Quick responses to this plea would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

I don't know about best price, but I got my gallon ones at Home Depot. I don't have a Michaels or any of those other stores near. I think mine was $3+, but I am not sure. I also asked for the paint can opener while I was at it!

That was a QUICK response!!! Thanx sooo much. Three bucks isn't bad at all. I think my cuz went to a pricey scrapbooking specialty store & she paid almost $6.00! I've got a Lowe's & Home Depot just down the street, so maybe I'll hit them 1st thing tomorrow.

I picked up mine at Home Depot also. Have fun with it.

I got one @ Lowe's not too long ago and I think it was even cheaper than $3.00. They also have the quart size that are only a dollar something.

I pick mine up at Ace Hardware. Only $1.99 each. Home Depot wanted $3.49.
Don't forget the key to open it.
