Default unmounting su stamps

I really enjoy using clear stamps. It is so much easier to place than wooden blocks. I have numerous su stamps that I would like to unmount and turn into stamps to use with acrylic blocks. Is there a thread or could someone explain to me the procedure to change them?

Some people say to put them in the microwave for about 10 seconds to loosen the attachment medium. I just unmounted all mine and all I did was get my fingernail between the rubber and the mounting material and pulled it off. Of course, the newer ones came off much easier but I got some stamps from a friend that were from 1995 and well used and I got those off without trouble.

I now use EZ Mount. I save a BUNCH of room unmounting all these!

I also unmounted all of my SU. I just used my fingernail and was able to peel the rubber away. I do not mount mine on EZ mount, instead i buy Aileen's Tack if over and over. Use a brush and apply a thin layer on the back of the rubber. Let it dry a few minutes and it will adhere to an acrylic block. I store my stamps in empty CD cases and sometimes ez mount would take up too much room. Good luck!

Default ez mount

Where do I locate the EZ Mount for the best price? Is the EZ Mount the only supply that I need to umount the stamps? I thought about using the stampamajig for placement but unmounting seems easier.

The 10 seconds in the microwave does work very well. But I have done that to reposition my wood mount stamps. I am not sure what happens with the sticky rubber afterwards. I am a firm believer in keeping all my stamps on wood. Easier for clean up in my honest opinion.

Thank you so much!!! I'm going to try the Aileen's Tack first and then I'll invest in the EZ Mount. I never seem to get the sayings to line up with the card when I use the wood stamps.

I use my Stamp-a-ma-jig a lot and it's great for lining up things exactly where you want them .
