Unmounted Backgrounds - Source
So I'm looking for nekked rubber - no foam, no wood, no nothin'. And I'd like them to be big enough to do a quarter card (like SU size). Anyone have a source?
I used to use Cornish Heritage, but I guess they've gotten to big and they don't do plain rubber any more. I had an absolute horror getting the foam off from my last order...I really don't want to do that again. I avoid SU ones for the same reason.
I really love backgrounds, but most that I find are smaller than a quarter card.

These are some beautiful stamps! Have you bought unmounted from these companies? How do they come? Naked rubber or on a smartmount or some other system?

Thanks!
I have purchased the nekked rubber from both of these companies and have been very pleased with their stamps. I mount mine on EZmount from Sunday International.
Purple Onion Designs has a few backgrounds - they're just unmounted rubber. But I highly recommend Cornish Heritage Farms - the BG's cover a full card, and with the smart mount is only $7.99 each. You can use it with an acrylic block or even the label side of an SU BG stamp!

VLVS has a lot of backgrounds, all with measurements. When I was looking at the StampOutCute website, it looked to me like they might have some the same suppliers as VLVS for the background stamps, because I saw some of my faves from VLVS on the SOC site. You can buy the bare rubber from there for half the price of wood mounted. Here's a link to the first of seven pages: http://www.stampostore.com/index.php...wCat&Submit=Go
blockheads.com has great UM from lots of different companies. Also try e-bay, alot of smaller companies who sell UM have stores there, just do a search for "UM stamps".
