Default Unity Stamps ... big images?

I have heard that Unity Stamp images are quite large. Is this true?

I have been loving Crafty Secrets (and always will), but lately, I am finding the sweet, detailed images just too small. They can be very difficult to color. (and I'm big into coloring). (e.g. Bugs Life ....cute as a button, but sooo tiny).

I don't have to have a super-size image ... sometimes too big is just as bad as too small. But I am definitely watching the image sizes I buy from now on.

One thing I really like about Unity's online catalog is it gives you a size breakdown for each piece in the set so that you know what size block you would need. I find this very helpful for knowing an approximate size of the stamped image on my card front.

They are rather large, and I think great for scrapbooking...but I'm lovin' them for creating cards!

I read on Lauren Meader's blog My Time that they are designing smaller images that will be just perfect for making cards

I have a bunch of the larger images and the small images, and I even use the larger images on my cards. I find I can use them for everything! Just love the versatility of the stamps for sure!

Yes, some of Unity's stamps are larger than avarage! Which is a fun change, I think!
The new releases have some smaller images made specifically for stamping cards. (as opposed to scrapbook pages)
Check out the Unity gallery to see the cool images!

If you look on the website it will give you the size, (in inches) of all the stamps in the set you are looking at. That is so helpful!!!!

I was actually surprised at how much smaller the images were IRL because I was expecting them to be ginormous! The first sets I bought were 'flirty flowers', 'toxic love' and a single quote stamp. The images in those sets were pretty standard I thought for size.

I have really enjoyed some of them larger because like you I love to color and small images are sometimes more difficult and not as fun to work with, IMO.

Denise - The Scrap Yard has some Unity stamps in stock. I wanted the butterfly set but they didn't have that one.

I just thought that this might help some of you. These two stamps are what I would call some of the larger stamps, and I am still able to get them on my tags. My tags are 5" x 3 3/4". Hopefully this might help you:

Scripture tag

Birthday tag
Party hat measures about 3 1/2" x 2"

I just bought Giggle Grove at the Scrap Yard. They didn't have any of the singles which was too bad. So I just placed a decent order and for $5 shipping you can't go wrong. The gas to get to the Scrap Yard would be as much! Although....I do love that store and like to get there once in a while.
