A couple of weeks ago, I had posted a message, asking about Simon Says Stamps (Forums at Splitcoaststampers). I ended up ordering the set I wanted directly from Crafty Secrets.
A few days ago, Simon Says PM'd me, offering to send me this set, or any other set I wanted, free as an RAK. I suggested another set, since I'd already ordered the other one.
Today the package arrived with that set, plus two others, completely free of charge. I am blown away. How very kind of them to send me these goodies. Thank you!
I love it when companies go out of their way to please their customers. I'm glad you got your stamps and then some!

Thanks for posting nice things about us stamper1996! We are working hard to improve our business model and have a great group of gals working for you - The stamper!
Much luv,
Heidi
I really hope so Heidi..You have such potential to do great business. Your site is easy to navigate and you carry a great selection. BUT if your customer service stinks then all that is no good.
CinKel, We have added some great help into our store and are very proud of how the customer service is doing these days ;) We are getting lots of nice reports and business is humming along. We are working hard around the clock for our passion - and love sharing it with anybody who is interested.
Thanks for the nice things you said about our store!
That's great to know! Growing pains can be hard on an expanding business, it seems like one day you are a small business and then there is an explosion of business and growth. I understand it can get a little crazy. I'll have to check out the site! Thanks OP for sharing a positive story.
I too, may have to give you guys a try. I was under the impression it wasn't doing very well, with the lousy customer service, and the packages not showing up. I'm so glad to hear that things are getting better! I'll watch for more of these kinds of threads, and see how it goes. Karen
I love Simon Says Stamp! I have ordered 3 times and always had wonderful customer service. I am glad all is going well for you Heidi! We are self employed as well and at times it get so overwhelming. You can just do your best and it will all work out in the wash... always does. Good Luck with everything!
They are trying to save their reputation. So many here have had very HORRIBLE Experiences with them. There are several threads about the experiences. There is actually a thread on the Tools and Products page going on now.
I am very glad you were treated well as that doesnt seem to be the normal mode of service from them.
blessings.
Heidi, I'm glad you feel your business is improving, but as a looooooong time eBayer (since 1999) your company is going to have to do a lot of time with excellent customer service before I'll order from you. I've been burned enough times to look beyond the percentage of positive feedback. When your feedback has far, far less negatives (miss those neutrals!) I'll reconsider. Best wishes as you work toward that goal. -Melissa
With an ebay feedback rating of over 99% and over 23,000 positive feedbacks the past year alone, we are thrilled to be able to offer a positive experience to our buyers.
I hope that helps confidence a bit. We have a great group of gals passionate about our work and trying to get folks the latest crafting supplies at great prices.
I have a quick question about a couple of items that are in the store. They are glues that have Stampin' Up! written on them. How can that possibly be? I thought such items needed to be ordered directly from SU! or through a demo. Just wondering...
i think that as long as your not a demo you can resell SU stuff. that is why i can sell my current unwanted stamp sets on ebay but a demo cant. not that i have any unwanted sets. i love happy mail congrats on your unexpected stamps

You forgot to mention the 22 Negatives you had in the last month or the 129 negatives you had in the last 6 months. Then there are the neutrals that are just as high.
There are larger Ebay stores with much less negatives so that says they have good customer service. Personally I am one that will never order from you again either. Never did receive my stamp set. Never got a response from my emails either.
I forgot to add that the one thing I think is sad is - Simon Says sells CURRENT SU products. There are many many current products that are higher priced that what SU actually sells them for.
I think this is very sad as it takes sales away from honest demos trying to start and maintain a business.
I agree with the above poster. I checked the prices on your CURRENT SU items and many were priced higher that what customers would pay when getting them from a demo directly. I thought SU products were supposed to be from a demo directly, where there is actual value added to the product. The value added is the demos expertise, where she can supply GREAT customer service, trouble shooting advice, creative inspiration, etc etc.
I wouldn't buy current SU products from an online store knowing that it is against SU policy to do business this way.
Question for Simon Says: How is it that you have so much current merchandise for sale when you are not supposed to be selling it until it is retired? Are you saying that for all these years retiring demos just happen to call you to sell their extras when they retire?

A LOT of demos would love to know this. There is no way they would know that many RETIRING demos to keep supplying all that product. If a demo gets caught selling current items knowing they are to be put in an on-line store - that demo will lose their demoship. This is why they say it is retiring demos. Aynone that is NOT a demo can sell current SU items - I just think it is really sad that some do.
