I would find out from the mother what her feeling are about dressing them alike. I have identicals and try to avoid dressing them in the same exact outfit, but I do coordinate them for picture purposes...so today one is wearing a pink dress and the other blue, but they are the same style (something my mil still doesn't grasp and they are two yo.) I know other twin mom's who find it easier to dress them alike.
Other great gifts for anyone...but particularly twin moms is gift certificates for a cleaning service, Or meals either homemade or from a make your own meal kitchen. Keep in mind that there is a higher likelihood of bed-rest and early delivery...so you may want to schedule the shower a bit earlier than normal. |
Bless your heart, lol! I am an identical twin, and I can tell you we totally HATED it when people gave us identical things, particularly clothes. Fortunately my mom got good advice and tried to avoid that whole thing, even to the point of getting us into separate classrooms in school whenever possible.
