I have realized that I tend to stamp best while I have the TV on. Frasier is my muse. I love putting on DVDs of old Frasier episodes. I also usually stamp during the hour my soap is on - OLTL.
What do you prefer to listen to while stamping?

I am always listening to my Ipod. I'm a bit of a rocker so I jam while I stamp. However, I did watch (listen) to a movie last night while working on a swap. My prototype turned out, well, like crap. So I am about to get the music going and to try again!!
neither, unless you consider a dog snoring under your work table,music, which to me is really music to my ears, (she's 14) and I cherish each minute of her snoring.
If it was up to me, I'd have Josh Groban on the entire time I'm stamping but considering I have two young ones still at home there is usually a movie or xbox game on while I'm stamping.
music.....anything from christian rock to heavy metal. I also listen to country, classical, new age, world music, classic rock.............What can I say, I have diverse tastes in music. :-D

definitely tv. i generally stamp from 3 to 7 p.m. so i watch everybody loves raymond from my dvd collection, rachel ray's talk show, sometimes oprah, and nightly news.
I listen to music,or quite, TV distracts my concentration, I tried watching TV and stamping, it just doesn't work for me, if something is interesting I must watch.

Either or...if I am stamping in my craft room I have my iPod in its Bose dock, if I am upstairs I have the TV on.
I must say its been ages since I've stamped...no swaps or anything. I have been too tired out from work lately.

for me the ideal is an audio book ...or BBC Radio 4 on the computer ,you can listen to plays or interesting shows about all sorts of stuff that is educational or comedy ,or the ultimate for me is a radio soap called the Archers ,,,its been on the radio for about 40 years .........yep i am an old fashioned girl ,but i love plays etc on the radio as the pictures are always so much better in my head :-D
I don't care which one I have going, TV or music as long as there is something making noise in the background. Sometimes I listen to a book on my iPod...something funny like a Janet Evanovich story.
You all have a choice as to what's on tv? I usually stamp to Dora the Explorer or Diego or something else as annoying. When I do get silence, it is golden and I work extra well.

Definitely music! I turn on some 80's music on Sirius satelite radio (either Hair Nation, Buzzsaw, Classic Rewind or 80's Hits) and stamp away. If I am working on a big project, I will prepare everything and bring it into the living room with me after supper and listen to the TV.
So many of you like to listen to music while stamping. When I turn on music I always want to dance. The chair dancing seems to get in the way of my cutting a straight line or stamping a good impression. The chair squeaking also gets on my nerves - so I've turned to TV.

I have the tv on for background noise. I really don't watch it and I don't hear it either, but just like the noise.
I find that music distracts me because I start paying more attention to the music than my scrapping!

I have always been someone who has had to work or study with music or at least some sort of background noise happening. Now, when I stamp or scrap, I usually just listen to the TV which is in my DD's playroom (it's the family room, so that's where the TV is!!!). That way, I can hear if she's OK and I get to listen to something. But, if DD's sleeping, well her bedroom is right next to my craft room, so it gets very quiet down there especially at night which is when I tend to do most of my stamping!!!!!! Maybe I should get me one of those iPods - lol!!!!!
I like the tv myself. I began stamping in my computer room but the tv in there is only "wii friendly" and I found myself trying to find tv episodes that I could watch from the computer. But since I am big Food Network, DIY, & HGTV watcher I needed a tv that didn't have Mario or Sonic on it on a regular basis. So I have taken over half of my 8 year old son's room. Don't feel bad for him though since he still sleeps with my 10 year old son.
I'm more of a music person myself, but sometimes I like just the sound of stamping! Coming soon...birds singing outside! Spring is soon to be on the way!
I switch off -- sometimes I prefer silence, sometimes music on my iPod, once in a while the tv ... depends on my mood. But if I'm stamping for relaxation because I'm stressed about something, I prefer silence.
