Thanks for sharing. This is what I needed. Sometimes I like my cards, sometimes I don't, and think this will help.

Thank you ladies for your generous words and kindness! Your support means more to me then you could know. As an individual who is just setting forth in a field that is so new to me, I hesitate to share my knowledge for fear of being thought of as an "arrogant artist". I finally had to laugh, after the fact, when I was called arrogant - but it certainly set me back. I believe there is a huge difference between arrogance and confidence and so I will do my best to bring my background to you without being arrogant OK - that's a joke - if you know me you would probably burst out laughing, but I'm guessing most of you really don't know me. I love to have fun! I love to teach and share, and I'm a peacekeeper. I work VERY hard, but I love what I do and so it's all good. Definitely Type A personality here - but working on the whole mellowing with age concept So if I don't post anything for a few days or even a week it might just be that I'm over my head with other obligations and deadlines. BUT being Type A it will get done

It was hard for me to understand why SU approached me to use some design information that I had shared with them. I hadn't really given any thought to what it was that I had written, but I am beginning to see that perhaps I did share something with them that the rest of you might find interesting as well. I see a need, a desire within this community to better understand what the elements of design are. I sincerely hope that the information I can share will bring a new sense of confidence to those who want to learn these snippets. I even hope that it might smooth over the whole CASEing fiasco that continually seems to happen. I truly believe that when you have the chance to learn and practice, you will soon have the confidence to create all on your own.

As you will probably notice, design is a subject that is a passion of mine - LOL! I do hope that the insights I share will bring about a new understanding of the whole design process. My desire is to bring the artist, the creative being, out in each of you! We all have it and if we take the time to delve into this information, study it and try it I believe we will all become better artists. That includes me - by reviewing and sharing I learn and improve.

Pretty lofty goal I guess - LOL! So go check it out and let me know your thoughts. A teacher is only as good as her students - so if you have questions or input please share them with me and the rest of the ladies here on SCS. Thank you again for the vote of confidence I hope that I don't disappoint!!!
