I love all the bicycle and house stamps, I hope those stay around.
I don't like seeing zippers used on cards, sometimes as flowers and sometimes just as regular linear zippers. The zipper flowers looked cool at first, but the thought of making such a heavy card gives me hives. Almost all of the cards that I send out (which is a small fraction of what I make) are mailed, and I can't help but think of that when I look at cards, including ones made by others.
Oh, another thing I love is seeing gray paired with purple and yellow.
I bet the dies with matching stamps are going to be huge. I think more clean and simple cards, less layering and embellishments will be the trend.
I agree on colors of coral, aqua, brown, silver, and a deep purple.
What I hope is out (but I know won't be) is the people with no noses and big heads and cupcakes. I think flowers will be used less as an embellishment, less ribbon and more natural fibers, raffia lace, raffia, hemp.
I found this and this. None are on cards, but they are exactly like the ones I saw on cards (I want to say in PaperCrafts magazine, but don't quote me).
Impressive, but I can't stop thinking about my postal scale when I see them on cards.
more and more die cuts and lots of companies coming out with their own dies and embossing folders; the shimmery spritz and glitter stuff will not go away just yet (even though I am not a user of that); border punches and corner punches will still be very popular;
Cheers, Holley

To go out with 2010: I agree with the zipper flowers (yuck!) and it was in Papercrafts in the Moxie Fab section (I also hope the terms "Moxie Fab" and "uber" anything go down the tubes.)

Yes! I also hope to see a lot more of the custom dies to work with specific stamp sets. Papertrey has been putting out some great ones lately. I especially love thier mat stack die sets.
Holy cow! I just checked out those zipper flowers, and did you see the price? While I agree I couldn't bring myself to put one on a card, good for her for coming up with a great selling idea!
