I thought this might be a fun question... what are your top 5 favorite SU stamp sets of all time? And your top 5 favorite SU colors?
I've been using (aka... hoarding) Stampin Up for 11 years so I'm not too familiar with sets and colors before that. But this was so interesting to think about and hard to choose because I love so many of them, new and old! But when it comes to my very top 5, they were older sets! Maybe they have sentimental value because they are from my first few years as a stampers, but they are stamps and colors I still use!
So these are mine since I started stamping:
Stamp Sets:
- Laundry Notes
- Like It A Latte
- Along the same lines
- Blooming With Happiness
- Stinkin' Cute
Colors:
-Purely Pomegrante
-Cool Caribean
-Pistachio Pudding
-Pink Pirourette
-Primrose Petals
***It's really hard not including bashful blue, blue bayou, and peach parfait on this list, lol.
Fun question ... and I'm going to cheat with the colors because I usually use two colors (I started this when SU listed Dynamic Duos).
Colors:
Rose Red / Regal Rose
Handsome Hunter / Sage Shadow
Night of Navy / Brocade Blue (tied with Brilliant Blue / Bashful Blue)
So Saffron / Certainly Celery
And for my not yet started wedding scrapbook .... Lovely Lilac / Almost Amethyst
[I said I was going to cheat]
Sketch It
Cardinal Christmas (the older one with the gorgeous rose)
O Tannenbaum
Frosty
Sincere Salutations
Sets:
Elements of Style
Feathered Friends
House of Haunts
Knobbly Gnomes
Summer by the Sea/Seaside Sketches (can't decide which I like better, so there's my cheat)
I totally agree... makes me want to add to my list too Like Sage Advice... I love that set! The font is so pretty. It makes me chuckle that we all cheat... it's too hard to narrow down!
This thread shows why Lovely as a Tree is still in the catalogue ever since I have been stamping (13 years). It's obviously still a best seller. Although I am well and truly weary of it, there isn't a replacement for it. I do love the newer French Folliage, though it's not really a replacement.
I think I got the names right! Doing this away from my craft space:-)
I pretty much like most of SU's color lineup. Just don't care for any coral/peach shades or any of the pale/minty green shades.
It's kind of funny when I look back at how my favorite colors have changed over time...I know it's partially because colors get added to our selections so our faves grow... but there was a time where I would work Gable Green into almost every card I made. And Pixie Pink... I was a big fan. And now most of the Bold Brights are stashed in the very back of my paper drawers and I look at some of my designs from 10-12 years ago... and wonder... what the heck was I thinking!!! LOL.
Does anyone else have a color or two they used to be obsessed with and now could never imagine using?

For me that would be Rose Red. I used to love that color. Then came Purely Pomegranate. Then came Raspberry Ripple. Next to those colors, I really don't like Rose Red anymore. I also really liked Apricot Appeal when it came out. I got tired of that one really fast.
