Lightbulb is a tool an accessory?

When uploading the recipe for a card you've made, do you get confused about putting tools in the accessories listing? I do. I had a little light bulb go off above my head today, thinking it would be nice to have a separate listing for the specialty tools we used to make our creations. That way I could list my ribbon and brads under accessories, and have somewhere else to put my nesties or crop-a-dile or crimping tool, etc. what do you think?

I think that is a good idea. So many people list their accessories, but fail to mention their tools or machines used.

Have a happy stamping day!

I think this is a terrific idea. I agree with Faith's son, Markie, that tools are tools. It would be great to have a catagory for that. I usually just put the tools in with the accessories.

Leisa,
You are a HOOT! I saw this thread and thought, "Hmmm...I'm gonna put what Markie says!" BUT...You beat me to it! LOL!

I think a TOOL listing is a good idea. I just don't know if it is something that can be changed without much trouble.

I want to highjack just a bit, sorry in advance, I just wish more people would actually LIST the items, KWIM??? So many leave them blank, and I would like directions, too...It only takes about 6 minutes to added the details, KWIM?

Highjack over...Well...I don't think it was a highjack...Lowjack? Infojack? LOL!

Highjack away Faith! I agree, I wish more people would list everything that went into their cards (and do it on SCS!).... I love learning new techniques or ways to multi-task a tool and it's sometimes hard to figure out how something was done just from a picture. I know that a lot of people use the recipe area to direct us over to their blogs but I don't want to get completely sucked into web-land. I am much more likely to skip over a card with no directions and just a blog-link because I want to make cards, not read about them, and I find blog-hopping to be a huge time vacuum.

Back to the original subject... Mat packs are not accessories, they are tools but in the absence of an alternative, I guess I'll have to list it there.

Great idea! I saw a card the other day, I could tell it had been embossed, but would love to know the name of the embossing folder or what machine was used to emboss it. I think listing the tool or tools would be fantastic.
