Default Tissue paper liners

I'm looking for some assistance and if anyone can direct me, I'd be greatly appreciated. Last summer I made some announcements to send out to try to get a feel as to how many to expect at my destination wedding next August. I was mortified to see once these announcements went through the mail all of my type (from a color laser printer, but printed in black on matte brochure paper) bled. I just made a "Save the Date" card using Stampin' Up cardstock, with the inside printed from an inkjet in a brown ink. I mailed one to myself as a test only to see this correspondence could have the same tendency to bleed and become an awful mess, even though it wasn't nearly as bad as my first correspondence that went out. So, the LONG and short of it is, I'm trying to find those little tissue paper liners to place in the card to avoid this problem. I have been all over the internet trying to find something. I live in southeastern Michigan and would prefer something local just so I can get these out relatively soon. Does anyone have any suggestions where to find these little liners?

Thanks so much for any assistance you can offer.

Kim

Go to the kids art section at Wal-Mart or the like and purchase a pad of tracing paper. Works beautifully.

When I made invitations for my daughters wedding I had a problem with the ink smudging or transferring to the other page when I used my ink jet printer on SU smooth white paper. The problem wasn't as bad on Wally's paper. I bought very thin vellum paper at my local stationary store and just cut it to fit in the cards. Worked great! Hope you can find a solution.

Glassine paper might be the way to go.

I know Martha Stewart carries it in her line at Michael's.

I bought glassine bags from Nicole at Papertrey --you could just cut them to size.

I have always experienced this problem with ink jet. Just too sensitive to climate and handling.

If you have a local printing shop that does invitations, they might be able to help you. The tracing paper sounds like a possible solution.

That would be my suggestion too. If you go to Michaels' the tracing paper is usually in the fine arts section near the oil paint and Prismacolors. Comes in different sizes, but smallest is 9x12. Don't know if you can find small insertions sheets.

I think a local print store would be a great option. They would even cut the paper to the size you need. It will add some cost but will give you a much nicer end result. We have Anchor Paper here in Minnesota and they are really helpful with any paper questions.
