Just wanted to know if anyone had any tips on how best to trim the Itty Bitty Backgrounds stamp set and the others of a similiar nature. Do you try and cut them out a bit, or leave them in a square shape, but smaller than they come originally? Don't know why this is throwing me, just don't want to make any "well Duh?" mistakes. Thanks for any help.
I trimmed mine in pretty close too with no trouble. Be careful how you mount the sticker though, so it matches the way you mounted the stamp. I had to turn two of them to match  .

I agree with all of the above. Trim as close as you can without cutting anything off, and make sure your sticker is lined up correctly. You don't want to have any extra marks when you stamp. It's a great set, I use the splatter one all the time since they discontinued the air works gun. Have fun!!!
I also trimmed mine in pretty close and have had no problems with it.
I agree also about paying close attention to the stickers to make sure
you get the stamp going in the right position.
I trim all of my stamps, even non-SU, ones that are already stuck (like from Wal-mart). I just use a box knife (my hubbie usually does it for me!) I am new at stamping and was getting ink on the sides of the rubber. Trimming them close keeps me from messing up cards as much.
