Talking for those who love coluzzle...

I found at Hobby Lobby this week 'Excel Swivel Knives (50% off too!) that seem to be identical to Coluzzle!! Replacement blades look the same as well. If you don't have a HL close to you, I also googled it and you can order online at a few places.

Have a great day!!

exacto make one similar as well.. just not all stores carry it though. thankfully my LSS carries the one i need so i won't have to fuss with finding replace blades anymores Yah me! but i know what you mean when looking for discontinued items and the frustration it can cause. i loved my coluzzle so much and was so sadden that SU stopped selling it or the replace blades for it. oh well they're making room for Bigger or Better products  I'm sorry it that comment came out a bit rude, don't get me wrong i love new items but just feel overwhelmed sometimes and just want simplicity in the crafting world. life is complicated enough let alone 30or more steps to complete just 1 card /page/project.

I know a lot of people found the Coluzzle to be clumsy compared to some of the new gadgets out there, but I LOVE mine! It is hard to find replacement blades, so I am always glad to hear of ideas out there!

I bought four Coluzzles on the clearance rack...a great bargain for the mat, knife and oval and circle! I too have bought both exacto and Excel blades but a word of caution. The original Coluzzle blad was made with a little )tiny actually) white post at the back of the blade that prevented a lot of cutting into the plastic of the Coluzzle. It helped the blade to glide along the top of the palstic. The other swivel knives don't have that post. So it is easier to cut into the plastic of the Coluzzle. Go a little slower and make sure your blade is absolutely straight up and down if you use the other blades.

I love my Coluzzle and still use it even though I have a lot of the "Bigger and Better" products. When I heard about it being discontinued, I bought a lifetime supply of blades and the templates that were on my to buy list for cheap. I like the quick, no thinking aspect of the Coluzzle.

I also love my Coluzzle. I use the templates with an X-acto swivel knife. The X-acto blades are easy to replace.

Please help. Lost my coluzzle mat in a move and cannot find another anywhere. Know where I can buy one or is there a substitute? Thanks, Barb
