Default template for gift card box (Not Tashers')

I'm looking for a template/tutorial I thought I had seen here on making a box (3-d, almost like something you would put jewelry in but sized for a gift card). Anyone have any ideas where to find it? (I did find the one at the top of the Fan Club pattern/template forum by Tashers but that is not what I am not looking for.)

Thanks!

I know this is not the box you're looking for, but I would use a Chinese take-out shape box. It's different and they'll never know till they open it what could be inside. Boxes can be purchased at both Michaels and AC Moore. You can purchase them in colors or white and embellish them as you please.

i am interested as well!!! as several people on my list are getting GCs.

i had asked a few days ago for ideas.

i ended up spray painting an altoids tin and embellishing it. and i did a pop top fruit can for one too.

i will stay tuned as i have 2 more to do for tomorrow!

Here is a site where you can enter the dimension for a box. Then their computer generates a template just the size you want.

Tuck Box Template Maker

A "tuck box" is like the kind used for a deck of cards. But I have tested this template maker for a bunch of odd sizes and it always works.

Default Gift Card Tag

This one is not a box. It's shaped like a tag so you could hang it on the tree.

Gift Card Tag Template (at Stampington.com)

Because it has two pockets, I usually put a bookmark in one side and the gift card or check in the other side. Another option would be to just eliminate the second pocket.

That's a really great link too!!! I can't use it in this particular case, but I have a great idea that we can use it for (probably for next year at this point).

I uploaded a box yesterday that can be used for a jewelry box. It is larger that a gift card (5x7) Just another idea. The link for the tutorial is above. The key words for my upload (my first try at this) is Drop Spine Box.
