1. With all the new excitement about CAS cards, that would be fun!
2. What about a movie theme?
3. OK... I'm in the middle of watching the rerun of Grey's Anatomy... how about a McDreamy theme? Seriously!
4. Way back when... when I started stamping... I didn't like to stamp flowers. I wanted to color cutesy things. When I finally got on the band wagon with flowers, Copics came to the world and almost everyone is coloring. I miss flowers!
OK... Now I'm going to read what everyone else said.

It was a beautiful day down in Newport Beach this morning. How about a beach theme? Or our mountains look beautiful all covered in snow. A majestic mountain to a camping theme?
I've only been a fan club member for about 8 months, so I don't know what's been done.
Best friend
Facebook- that's big right now.
I went back to see what had already had been done so unless I missed it, I did not see baby stuff. *Baby face, you've got the cutest little Baby face*
It could be baby cards, baby scrapbook pages, baby gifts to give. It seems like new mothers are so prone to save everything they get for that new baby to start that first scrapbook with and have for that most happy event in their lives.

I know this is a trendy phrase right now, but how about Going Green. Obviously they could use green as a focal color. Also make projects using recycled items. Use nature inspired images, etc.
I always look forward to all of the Dirty Creations. I am glad the 15th is on the weekend. I can come home from church grab a cup of joe and browse all of the amazing creations in the DD gallery.
I second this theme - great idea!
I also liked it when the DD had a theme years ago where they went to the dollar spot or Big Lots and revised some inexpensive projects. I like the idea of turning inexpensive items into great gifts.
Yea! One day until the February DD gallery is open. I always mark the 15th on my calendar.
In July of 04, when I joined, the theme was simply tag art and
I still revisit that gallery once in awhile for inspiration when making tags. I would love to see this theme and what could be done with tags after five years and many new products and stamps later. Thanks for asking!
I only glanced through this thread, so forgive me if mine are repeats:
sweets (candy, cupcakes, ice cream, etc.)
masculine (I know MANY of us need help with this!)
movies (movie night treats, cards inspired by movies...)
stamping on a budget (use dollar stamps, recycle items, etc.)
spring break
summer BBQ
I'm sure there's more...just can't think of any right now.
1. All Americana -- this would be great for the month of June -- right before July 4th to get us all in the spirit... (and ALL includes N. & S. America, too!)
2. European Vacation -- 'cuz if you're going to do All-American, well, it's only fitting... ;)
2. Current Events -- cards inspired by the news of the world... (just think of those octuplet cards that could be created! ;) )
3. Jamaica Me Crazy! beaches, the carribean, reggae... lots of possibilities!
With everyone trying to rein in their spending, how about a frugal but fabulous theme? I know we've done the dollar store finds before, but what about a "don't throw it out, make it better", or using just a basic stampers supplies (along the same lines as the limited supplies challenge).
Or what about a little insight into our Dirty Dozen with a "what makes me laugh" theme?
Lots of great ideas have already been mentioned that I totally love...
A few other possibilities:
- Revisiting Childhood: anything that reminds you of your childhood (could even been inspired by something you loved back then like shows, foods (fav. candy, etc.), places, etc., etc., etc.
- The "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!" theme: Kind of a spin off of a "no new stuff" riff, just use what you've got
- Music makes the world go 'round: Anything inspired by music!
- I LOVE the CAS idea - we all know the dirty girls can glam it up, but it's also great to go for simple but effective too
- Money Madness: Clever ways to fancy up giving money as a gift
- KidFest!: Fun cards and even gift ideas for kids
I am not quite sure of all of the themes you have done but here is my idea. How about pulling out some of those tools we all first start out with that always seem to get "lost in transition". It is amazing what we all start off using and then we always seem to find something bigger, better and faster. Maybe it would encourage people to pull out those old forgotten and dusty tools and give them the love they deserve lol!
I just finished going through the DD gallery for the month and it is FABULOUS! As for future themes:
ALL Birthday- cards, party invitations, etc. I need lots and lots of birthday cards so I'd love the DD's inspiration.
WEDDING- Already mentioned, but the season will soon be upon us. Invitations, shower favors, Save the date, etc.
Can't wait to see what themes await us. Thanks, Jan.
Wow! These are some great ideas! Here's a couple more...
IN BLOOM --- Flowers in bloom, babies in bloom, gardens in bloom.
PARTY ANIMAL --- Lots of furry friends cards and party "stuff" like invites, favors, etc. (Now that I'm typing this, I'm wondering if you've already done this?)
I have not read all the responses. I know CAS has been mentioned, that would be nice. But I also know people kind of expect more complicated, over the top kind of stuff from the DD. Maybe do a 2 card challenge - one CAS and one over the top.
Another idea might be using what you have. With a lot of people having to cut back and a large number of us being hoarders, bring back some of the oldies but goodies that people still have in their stash. New twist on old stuff.
Or anything spring related.

Dirty Pages: scrapbook pages made by the Dirty Girls.
Just for Tweens: creations that tweens would love.
Just for Teens: creations that teens would love.
Where the Boys Are: creations that our boys would love.
How about using a favorite Children's book as a theme
*When We Were Very Young*
*Where the Wild things Are*
*A Child's Garden of Verses*
or maybe a RETRO theme which would be differnet for each dirty girl according to their ages... great work as always Jenn and thanks for all you do for us!!!
I think it would be fun if they had to use at least one thing mentioned as a regretted purchase (See this thread) - it might inspire those who own the item to actually use it!

I would love to see an "Ode to SCS challenges" where all the Dirty Girls have to make one card for each challenge category, and they have to use a challenge from the past. (For example SC105, and TLC40 etc....)

How about doing "my music" themes? You get your ipod (or turn on the radio to your favorite stations) and shuffle 5 different songs. You pick one of them and the song lyrics has to be your inspiration.

Woo Hoo! You'll have to come back and tell us what you got from SCS. :-D
I definitely will ... I was so excited I'm not even sure if I said thanks (THANKS!) and to congratulate the other winners (LittleSeaOtter and stargirl)!
