I have a question: I heard that this guy from Spellbinders walked around at CHA summer 2012 and threatened other die makers with lawsuits. What is up with that? I do not like such business practices at all and will boycott Spellbinders from now on. Besides, in all their demos they used wax paper to release the die cut from the die. Are they cutting corners in quality? Also, it seems to me that they are copying other die makers' intricate designs now but their dies look pretty rudimentary in comparison. Would love to hear more details from anyone who witnessed such incidents! Thanks!

The only thing I noticed at CHA with Spellbinders is that their Sales & Creative Development Executive was amazing! Totally thrilled to show me all the new dies and so passionate about what he does. They rocked CHA in my opinion.

Anyone that makes intricate dies will tell you that one of the easiest ways to make sure you get the die cuts out of the dies without tearing them is to use a layer of wax paper between the die and the paper when cutting.

I don't understand why anyone would want to hear details on incidents you were not part of yourself. There is just way too much negativity in this world. In the grand scheme of things it's papercrafting we are talking about!
