hehehe. I'm a mess today! I actually posted sets to add to the ole stamp collection thread and forgot to ask for your favorites/advice and all.
...THEN went to dress my 2 year old daughter and it appears she has a CHICKEN POCK (POX???) on her leg. Yes, she was vaccinated. Anyway, I just got off the phone with the doc and she said that she saw 4 cases of chicken pox this week.
I love chocolate and coconut. Now I'm craving a mounds bar.
I have no real favorites...although Simple Shapes is a really cool set! I've used it a couple of times at Stamp Camps and my members are loving it! Chicken Pox, most of the time, really aren't that bad. Just be patient and it will be over with before you know it!
I had an epiphany with simple shapes this week. I was just complaining to my sister-in-law that I didn't know what to do with it and boom...I made a set of cards using it for backgrounds last night.
I used color combos using pink/gray/black and pink/cocoa. It was so much fun I want to make more. (I wish I had the capability to put it in the gallery). These cards are a gift for my hairstylist.
I'm about to put my daughter into a warm bath (per instructions of the doctor) to "bring them out".

My daughter was vaccinated as well. But still got them. Very very mild case. She had 34 pox total. her Dad on the other hand (who got them from her 2 weeks later) Had 34 just on the bottom of his right foot! :( Not fun.

Beverly....that is terrible! I got the chicken pox when I was 16 from my little sister who was in first grade. It was horrible (high fever, they were everywhere, in my ears, eyes, nose, mouth). I even get shingles IN my ear from time to time as a result.
Your poor husband. Did he have to go to the hospital or anything?
Okay, I meant for kids they usually aren't that bad. I had them when I was 25 and got just a ton of them. But again, they weren't as bad as some...I didn't get them in my throat or eye lids so I was happy!
I was just thinking that I use my Wonderful Words set an aweful lot too!
