I think this has been discussed before, but does anyone know why SU doesn't make water color pencils in their color families? They have everything else, but not the pencils. I have some by Derwent that I love, but I'd buy them in the SU color families, if they had them!
Me too. Keep asking. They listened about the 12x12 cardstock and the ribbon color selecton. Now that the color renovation is complete, maybe they will work on the pencils next.

Well, SU itself doesn't make water colour pencils. Maybe the company they get them from doesn't offer the service of exact colour matches to SU colours.
I have often asked the same question. I really like the pencils so its too bad they don't make them in SU colors. I guess we can just keep asking till someone listens.

I bet you are right. But it doesn't hurt to keep asking. I agree, the greens are my pet peeve with the set. Otherwise I love the WC pencils even better than the crayons.

Plus, there's the fact that watercolor pencils are so easily blended to create infinite variation.
SU sells a set, but it is a very small set. You could add to those by getting additional single pencils that are closer to the SU colors.
I think I read somewhere that Lyra makes SU's watercolor pencils. Hopefully, somebody will come in here that definitely knows if it's Lyra. I am thinking you could get some of the Lyra pencils close to SU's colors if this is the case.
