FYI, the peanuts are made out of corn starch so they won't harm anyone or anything but I still don't like them either

Hey - is SU trying to tell us something? Like maybe start cooking dinner for our families? No, say it isn't so! Maybe they are just trying to help speed things along so we have more time for stamping! Oh, I wish they would pack the stuff in mac and cheese products - my kids would go for that!!!
Yes, if you have corn allergies and cannot be around corn starch, you could have issues with these when those little micro particles go flying into the air and you inhale them. Maybe we could all call SU and say were are allergic to corn and have them ship all orders with paper "for medical reasons".
i really liked the air pockets..but i do know some people that save the paper that comes in the box and stamp on it..they use it for different things.
The bubble wrap is fun to put on a hard floor and roll your office chair (with wheels) over it.
My kids fight over bubble wrap. Oh, the tiny bubble wrap - there are some fantastic samples in the gallery here on SCS!!
I got another order today, it shipped out a week ago and was not 2nd day ups. Brown paper. I put the brown paper over the leftover peanuts on my craft room floor. It's hiding the mess so I don't have to clean up.
Did SU use to do bubble wrap or the plastic bags full of air? Whoever invented those is making bank right about now. I've only ever gotten brown paper and that's been for the last year.
I love bubble wrap too and thank the person that just gave me something wrapped in the large size bubbles bubble wrap. That makes really neat cards.
I'm laughing as I write this  because I just had to open my hostess box that just came . . . and I actually exhaled when I saw the brown paper! I didn't even realize I was holding my breath

When I worked for a hospital supply company, the guys downstairs in the warehouse would put a 6ft or so piece of bubble wrap on the floor and then drive over it with a forklift. The first time you hear it - you want to dive under the table to save yourself!

Personally, I like the brown paper better. I haven't bought wrapping paper since getting SU! with the brown paper filler. Don't know what I'll do with CORNSTARCH PEANUTS!!!! Don't think my plants will like them.
Right now my backordered stuff is sitting in the box on my stamping table. Guess TMIB came when I wasn't looking. I'm a little afraid to open it!!! Just cleaned the house quite thoroughly, washed curtains, cleaned out clothes closets - gotta get those closets empty or I won't be able to put any new school clothes in!!!  All this inbetween posting on here, of course.
Here's SU's email reply to mine regarding the peanut situation:
Dear Cindy,
Thank you for contacting us with your feedback regarding the new packing peanuts. We want you to know that we appreciate your comments and have passed them on the appropriate department. Cindy, we have been advised that we only use the packing peanuts in emergency situations. There have been times when we have run out of packing paper and needed to use the peanuts until we received more paper. This should not be continual; however, we do apologize for the inconvenience they have caused. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend an item that can be used to remove the residue. Thank you again for your e-mail. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
I received 3 orders today - all with the brown paper. I hope those of you that suggested they had just run out of paper and had to use peanuts temporarily are correct. I did have an opportunity to speak with someone at SU! this week and she told me they were extremely backed up with all the orders from the new catalog.
