I'd recommend Pinkhedgehogpapercrafts--they have silver and gold cord and Heidi (who I think is the owner) is a SCS member. Here's a link:

The cord that I miss is the non-elastic cord that came in gold, silver and copper. It was lovely. But I'll check out the links, thanks!

i happened to find some non elastic cording in silver & gold at hobby lobby the last time i was in there... it is pretty fine, i think it is very much like what SU! used to have. i was so pleased to find it!

it was in the ribbon section in the fabric dept. regular price $1.99 for 21'

i grabbed 2 gold & 1 silver! they were on sale for 50% off!

the ribbon is most always 50% off at my hobby lobby!

It will be back elastic in the Holiday Mini Catalog September first, I think the elastic version will be more versatile with gifting and 3D projects, I can't wait to play with it!

The place a go about an hour away is really for wholesale sales but they also sell to the public out of the warehouse. This is the online site:

http://www.wrappedallup.com/

I looked it up and this is the cording...they have elastic and non-elastic. I prefer the non elastic that use to be like what was sold in the SU! catalog.

http://www.wrappedallup.com/products/pdf/pgs6-12.pdf

It is a small company and it says online that they have a minimum sell of 50.00 but I would call them as I know they also sell in smaller quantities.

I LOVE the selection of cellaphane bags they sell with various designs on them and they sell MANY sizes of the "flat" clear bags that I use a TON of for projects.

Have fun

Yup, from Tuesday 1st you can buy it in the SU Holiday Mini again :-)

I have purchased some from Michaels, Joanns and Hobby Lobby in the past but all of those frayed and unravelled and were very difficult to work with...

But the SU one is fabulous - no fraying or unravelling - I used it this week to make a holiday ornament card that is on my blog right now and I tied teeny tiny bows onto the ornaments using it - this cord made it so easy to do - I was amazed at how easy to use it is - I LOVE it
