Default SU new background stamp

Do you think that the new Wheathered stamp looks like the old Antique Crackle stamp? I think they do and am wondering if anyone has both of them or if they have seen both of them. Need to know if I should put Wheathered on my list or not. I am a background stamp freak.

I've been meaning to look at an old catty to compare the 2 stamps. I do have the older version but I don't use it too often. I only use it to make a wood look. I'm not into the antique look. Anyway I did think it was strange that they had such a similar stamp. Dina

Thanks for posting this - you made me get off my butt and finally look - I've been wondering about this myself!

The stamps have a similar pattern, but the lines on the Antique Cracking stamp are very bold, and the Weathered stamp lines are quite light.
