So, it has been like literally FOREVER since I stamped. I want to make a card to fit in those Long Note envelopes SU used to sell. They are approx 6 3/4" x 3 1/2.
How I can cut a card base so that I can still use part of the 8 1/2 x 11 paper for another card? Does that make sense? With normal card sizes it is easy, but I am having a total math/card brain infarction right now! Shouldn't I be able to get 2 cards out of a normal paper even with the long note size??
Can't answer your question well for 8 1/2 x 11, but if you use 12x12 and cut it into 4 6x6 pieces, folded in half, you'll get 4 cards that fit into the envelopes.
The finished card would be about 6 1/2 long x 3 1/4 wide to fit in that envelope. Cut a piece of cardstock that measures 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 (scored at 3 1/4").
Cutting at 6 1/2 on the 11 inch edge of card stock leaves you with a piece of card stock measuring 4 1/2 x 8 1/2. Could use that leftover piece to make a 4 1/4" square card or
a 3 x 3 gift card. Hope this helps a bit. (hope I got it right-lol)
