am i the only one who thinks that the 48 colors isn't enough? there seems to be so many purples and greens that are almost the same color, but not one peach. i wish they made a peachy color.
I am wondering if they will come out with some new colors this year-maybe a fruit type line?
Wonderful Watermelon
Perfect Peach
Grape Green
Marvelous Melon
Great Grapefruit
Superb Strawberry
and my favorite hopeful addition:
KickA$$ Kiwi
(okay, I know that one won't happen, but it is getting late and I couldn't resist)
What other fruity flavors could they come up with?

i kinda use blush blossom as peach, but it's not really peach, more of a pink. i think they could have peach, and some more yellows, of the mustardy type, and a light rust.
okay Joleen-what else could we add? Help me out here, I know I will wake up in th emiddle of the night with visions of stampin' fruits running through my head.

Okay, I got back on for these, how sad is that?
how about:
Mango Mambo
Blueberry Bonanza
Raspberry Razzmatazz
allright, I'm tapped out, it's past midnight (as my DH has told me 5 times in the past 15 minutes-which is another reason hecalls me a  "Stampire")
I'd love to wake up and see some more ideas-maybe if we get 12 good ones we can send them in to SU-how about Funky Fruits?

This is my first post in here! I love this site! Be easy on me! hee hee I sure wish there were more colors!! I love the ones everyone has come up with!!
Sounds good to me...of course then we would have to actually decide which colors actually fit with those names. I would have to ditch yall to go and snoop around for a copy of the new catty.

hey inkalicious, where in oc are you? i'm in irvine!
i think the need some more dark colors too, along the lines of night of navy and close to cocoa. i never use the bold brights, i don't even own all of them cuz i knwo i'd never use em. but i do use all my other ones from the other 3 families. maybe they should start a 5th familly of colors? do they take suggestions into account?!
Hi! I'm in Mission Viejo! We are close! I have a good friend in Wyoming who was dubbed Glitter Queen in the Stampin Discuss forum! Are those 'names" given out randomly?
if you have a certain # of posts, you have a name they assign, like if you onlly have a few posts, you are a cardstock collector cuz you're just starting, get it? when you have more posts, you will be something like crazy stamper or whatever they're called!
Well I better hurry up and post a 1000 more, cuz I already am a Stampin Fool!! You guys are great! Thanks! So is there a refresh button to click, or do new messages just come up? 30 ???s!!
Inkilicious...btw, the reason you are a cardstock collector is due to the number of posts you have made here. I don't know the ranks you receive based on posts but mine have been changing rapidly over the last 2 weeks due to all my posts (I just joined about then).
HTH,
Cindy

Sorry to get serious here, but Stamping Up has several choices of purple. However, none of them are bright enough to go with my red hat! They need to give me another reason to spend my children's inheritance, (won't they have fun cleaning up this mess?).
More colors would be wonderful! I've sometimes been frustrated when I need just the right color for a project and I have to settle for one of the existing ones. :? I agree that they should have more shades of orange, like peach and melon. Another whole family of colors would be great!

Actually, my hubby likes it! He doesn't join me very often (like there'd be room at the table!!), but he does actually quite enjoy stamping. He's big on embossing!! (You should have seen his eyes the first time I used liquid applique! He LOVED that!!)
I have seen some websites where cards have been attributed to men.
Shocking, but true!!

I love the idea of a fruity color line! In keeping with SU's love of alliteration they should call it Funky Fruits!
I love Bodacious Blueberry and Becoming Blackberry! And would Coconut Cream be an off-white? We need one of those! I'd also love a deeper red. How about Clearly Cranberry?
Ah, if they would only do this. But can you imagine the organizational nightmare? I'd have to buy a new stamp pad rack, file folders, color charts, oh my! But it would be more than worth it!
We need Pretty Pumpkin or something similar and also a true royal purple. Lovely lilac is too light & Eggplant Envy is too reddish!

I only have a couple of SU pads. Most of mine are others. But I must say that with over 100 dye ink pads and 80 or so of color box.......
YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH COLOR!!
Even with all those colors, sometimes there just isn't the right color for the job. Sometimes it would be great if you could create a temporary ink pad and add pigments to create the color you want. Now there's a new idea they should perfect!!

Well I think their new Apricot Appeal will be a nice peachy color!! Also I would love a dark bright purple, a bit brighter than an eggplant!! And for we do have Pumpkin Pie coming for another Orange color Very awesome new colors but don't think we will ever be completely happy with the colors!! hehehehehe ;)
