Ugh, all this talk is driving me crazy!!!! So can't wait to see the mini, this mini is my favorite! Hoping a link is posted soon so I know how much over-time I need to work lol
I have had my mini now for a week and it's TATTERED! ... my "have to have list" is at $607.50 and that is only buying singles of things that I NEED more than one of! SO... Overtime here too!!!!
Personally I am not the least bit impressed by it! I usually break the bank with my ordering out of the holiday mini but not this year. So happy I bought a bunch last year.
I love the stamps I bought in previous years so I have no problem using them this year. I didn't care for any in the mini either. But I do like a lot of the dsp.
I am on the fence about the flipping....at first I didn't like the products in the back but once I flipped through all the samples and looked at each product THEN I flipped to the page to see a sample. Now it is flowing more smoothly for me. No one likes change....we are creatures of habit....so once I got used to it...it is better for me now.
this is why I can't wait to have multiples of the mini. No more flipping pages!
I LOVE the holiday catalog!!! I think they layout is terrific and very professionally done. I like having the ideas in the front, then the products. When the ideas are with the products, then people complain that they can't distinguish product from sample. You can please 100% of the people.
The products offered are to die for. I've been stamping for 25 years or so and I'm very picky and I am extremely happy with this catalog. I've been working on classes for the terrific products
I'm curious about the Halloween stamp sets - are they "cutesy" again, or are there some Goth/vintage/creepy ones? Cute is fine and good for the grandkids, but I prefer sets like "Dark and Dreary" and "From the Crypt"... "Best Fiends" was sort of in between cutesy and creepy and is one of my all-time fave stamp sets! Anyone care to divulge?

There is one called Toil and Trouble that sounds like what you are talking about.
Demos have access to a digital version now as well as a hard copy but it's not available for everyone to shop until August 1. Since demos can order July 1, you should start seeing samples in the SCS galleries shortly afterwards. You can also sign up in July and get the catalog as well as new holiday items in your starter kit.
Can't wait for the samples! Those are usually what kick starts my interest in certain stamps. Sometimes they get me interested in sets I would have never considered otherwise.
Some have said in the past they find the link by doing a Google search. I've tried and tried with no luck:( Maybe someone else will have better luck and share the link through a PM. Please!!!!
Saw the catalogue this past weekend. I have to say I like it and I don't. I understand what everyone is saying. Honestly I wish they had put the projects on one page and the product on the other. With that said at least they are providing us with more project ideas. Some of them I don't think are a decent focus on the product, but the stamps are gorgeous.
I dislike the kits - some of the items I wish were actual stamps. There were a lot of things I'll have to have, but like the new cattie my list won't be long. Paper and embellishments for me.
Not only are the products nothing of interest to me, but the catalog is the hardest I have ever had trying to distinguish between samples and products for sale...if that makes any sense.
Makes perfect sense, and I completely agree. I had to look through it three times before I understood what was product and what was just a sample. The only thing I want is some paper.
I used to sell SU to a few friends, but now I'm just a hobby demo. I know those former customers would hate this layout. I'm glad I don't have to try to market SU with this material.
I am so looking forward to seeing the New Mini also. I too like things in a orderly fashion, but Love SU products. Christmas is one of my favorite to buy. I may be tempted to purchase from another co. this year for my own Christmas Cards and use whatever I have for customers. I will wait and see... Any sweet DEMO would be welcome to see me a PM or email me with the catty as I didn't get mine yet. I am one of the last to get one. Kindly
I guess the SU demos on here are hoping their customers like the stuff in the mini as much as they do.
$29.95 for 4 snowflake stamps?
$24.95 for 4 snowflake framelits?
$21.95 for a border punch? (yet another product with chevrons?)
SU need to do a review of their pricing!
I will be spending a total of $7.95 on an embossing folder.
Unless, of course, they make the DSP available in digital downloads in a more timely manner than they have from the big catalog. THAT would make me spend money on digital downloads!
Sorry, Demos, but there isn't an upcoming sample made from the holiday mini products that will convince me to buy anything but that one embossing folder!
I was excited to see samples from the new big catalog. Honestly? After only 3 weeks, I'm already sick of hexagons, chevrons and mosaics. MOVE ON!
After seeing this holiday mini, I've sadly come to the conclusion that if I want some new Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas stamps, I'll need to shop elsewhere.

.
Uh-oh...I hope you find other things in there that you like!! Otherwise, shipped, your $7.95 embossing folder will cost you $15.80!! If you find a few more things, at least that can help offset the shipping costs
See that? See how I justified buying more things?? :p This is my fatal flaw...

Hokey smokes - are they like GINORMOUS snowflakes (like that butterfly stamp that's the size of a background stamp)? Because I'm a sucker for snowflakes, but that does sound a little spendy.

WELL, she could also tack it onto a friend's order! - that would cut the shipping back down to 80 cents...

I love the new catalogue and layout so many samples to get me excited. The kits will be great to encourage new stampers and inspire those not so new. I'm not a SU rep just loving their new stuff!
