For those of you that have this - do you like it a lot? I've seen lots of great cards in the gallery, but I'm on the fence about this one. How often would I use it if I don't like to color???
I, too, am on the fence. I really love the cards that have been uploaded to this site...but, can I do similar things with other sets? Perhaps if I played with this set a bit at my demo's my mind would be made up, finally.

I think it also has that 'Asian' feel to it, which is so popular now. I found 2 different stamps in my LSS today, one which looked like the leafy plant in Embrace Life, which I think is bamboo shoots? The stamp in the LSS said bamboo under it and it looked almost exactly like Embrace Life.
Then I found a flower stamp, only bigger than Embrace Life's. It is the one with the small flowers and branch. I think this is a cherry tree branch, popular in Japan. Again, more Asian influence. Between these 2 stamps, I could have been almost looking at Embrace Life (except for the lack of the larger flower).
I do think this flower set could be used for a very long time; one of those go-to sets for a stamper.
I like it! I have stamped the larger flower on colored (Ruby Red) cardstock with black ink and then cut out the flower. I'm not such a great watercolorer, so that works for me!
I just got this yesterday and I am IN LOVE with it! I have made 7 different cards already and the ideas are still sparking! For the last one I embossed the leaves in gold on Basic Black, matted it in Perfect Plum, and mounted that on a Pale Plum base. I embossed a square scripture sentiment in gold, matted that with Perfect Plum, and put it in the center. That is it-- it is very muted yet elegant and appropriate for a condolence card.

I LOVE it!! And I HATE to color and am not good at it!! You really don't have to color it! I made this card the other night...after I stamped the flower, I just went over the lines with a blender pen to give it more depth. I didn't color it in at all!

I thought it looked kind of blah at first - it didn't even make it onto my "kind of interested" list. But I've seen so many great cards made with it that I think I might have to get it! I've been eyeing Artfully Asian for a while, but I think this could be a good and more versatile replacement.
Mine arrives on Monday, but I played with one that my downline had last night-oh my gosh so pretty!
We made 2 cards with it-one had the flowers embossed and we used blender pens to color them in. I started ith the ink from the center and moved it to the outside edges-quick and easy.
The other nice thing is that it coordinates so beautifully with the Ginger Blossoms paper-it is such a an easy way to add beaiful pops of color to the card. And the flowers from the flower punch go along with it as well-so pretty!
Oh-and one thing we noted was that if you do want to cut it out it si very easy to cout out-very rounded and not a lot of in and out work (like the big daisy from Looks Like Spring).

I wish I would have purchased it with my extra demo discount back in December. I really like what I see in the gallery. Oh well! I'll pick it up during SAB!
Okay, I just went through the gallery for this set and it's definitely going on my February order now! What gorgeous cards everyone here has made with this set!
