Usually they're not allowed to post images of their projects until after Convention when everything is revealed. Of course that is how it used to be so I don't know if they've changed things.
The only place I know of is on the demo only website, though many list the award on their blog. This is an award for Stampin' Up! demos with a title at least Sr. Associate. Diana Gibbs is one of last years winners, she often works with Dawn Rapsas's UStamp. I'd have to check the demo site to get the name of the AA winners. One demo dropped so there are only 9 outgoing award winners. The ten 2010-11 award winners were notified last week.

I've seen some truly amazing "non-winning" cards on various blogs so I can't imagine how fabulous the winning cards must be. I hope we can view the winners somewhere.

Yep still the case, the convention/comp is over it seems (at least the non-winners have been notified) and they are sharing at the moment wish i could see more :-(
I agree it would be fun to check out there blogs or websites. You would think that SU would promote this as advertising and not keeep it a big secret after convention. I am so tired of reading you can only see it on the demo site.

I suppose that Stampin' Up! considers announcements about the Artisan Awards similar to demo of the year and other demo awards. Perhaps they don't think anyone other than demos have a big interest? Some demos announce their Stampin' Up! demo achievements (whether it be a Cruise Achiever, Founders Circle or top 100 demos) while others do not. I guess it's a personal decision.
I know Mary Jo Albright won last year (Beauty Lies Within is her blog). So did Summer Stone (don't know her blog, sorry). Diana Gibbs also was a winner last year. One of the 10 selected as AA winners elected to drop her demoship so there are only 9 outgoing winners this year. I think Mary Jo Albright's projects are beyond amazing and creative. She recently had a post where she made a vase of flowers using punches & ink.
As far as this year I only know of two Canadian winners, not everyone has posted that they won on their blogs (they cannot post their winning projects as those are Stampin' Up! property now). They are Heather Summer's downline (she has links to their blogs in this post: http://stampwithheather.typepad.com/...whoo-hoo.html/ I haven't seen any US demos announce if they won the Artisan Award honor, only those that were notified that they did not win.
Many of the non-Artisan Award winner have been posting their entries on their blogs.
JanTink (SCS name & her nickname) entered again but didn't win so she has been showing her entries on her blog: http://stampspaperscissors.typepad.c...aper_scissors/
Many of the non-winning creations are simply amazing, all different styles. All I can say is that I am glad that I am not a judge.

Not everyone is sharing if they have been notified, only two that I have heard from so far. Although all winners were to be notified by May 26, it's possible (though remotely) that a winner may not be able to accept and they'd go to another runner-up/finalist. It's my understanding that the list will be published in the next demo magazine (I know that everyone is tired of hearing it's a demo-only thing but I honestly believe that Stampin' Up! doesn't realize that non-demos would be interested in a demo-only award.)
If I come across any blog announcements I'll be happy to share as obviously those who have posts on their blogs want the world to know.

I am a non-winner and I have posted my projects I made to my gallery. The link is below my name. I put LOTS AND LOTS of hours into my projects, especially my 2 3-D projects so you better believe I was gonna show them! LOL
BUT...the winners cannot post their items at all. (They probably could be disqualified if they did and would be giving up $1000 in cash and shopping spree and dinner with Shelli at convention) So they wont chance posting their stuff. Hopefully when they are all announced (via the demo magazine next month) and their projects are displayed at Convention (in July) then maybe some pictures will start to show up of their projects. I definitely want to see them, too!!
There are several of us demos who didnt win that are posting our projects. Some are showing them on their blogs, some wont show them until they go to convention in July so that they have some posts to go up while they are gone, and some want to wait until the winners are announced to see if they do a runners up list like they did last year. Runners up dont get anything so I could care less if I am a runner up, thats why I posted mine to my gallery here. I will see if they mind if we start a thread over here on the general side to put links to their blogs so that you can check out their amazing talent!! The non-winning projects I have seen are great and so I know we all worked so hard and would like for people to be able to see them. I spend a better part of 2 months working on my projects in my spare time.
I was a winner two years ago and a runner up last year, so I know that the winners are not allowed to post their projects. I'm no longer a demo, I let it drop when the changes were made to the demo agreement, but it's still interesting to me to hear who won. Just to see if there's anyone I recognize. I was surprised to not even read one little blurb anywhere about who the winners are. Usually the news starts coming out soon after the winners are contacted. Maybe it's still too soon.
I thought you would like to see this, I have a few demos that I am subscribed to their blogs and the ever so nice Ashley from Utah, US has listed these on her website. http://designwithink.blogspot.com/20...-artisans.html
They arent winners obviously but are some VERY beautiful work from the almost award winners :-)
Do you think that SU might have checked out blogs and such of those that they picked as winners before they announced anything to anyone outside the selection committee/judges to make sure the winners were totally into SU and not other companies? Since they announced previously that demos who did continuous discounts and such wouldn't be elligible for awards, maybe they didn't want to have any winners for the Artisan Award showing up as being anything other than totally SU. Some of the non-winners who've announced themselves are totally SU and have been for a long time, but not all have been. There was such a stink before with demos who were featured in the demo-only magazine having very little SU on their blogs, so maybe SU didn't want a repeat of that. The actual judging of the entries could still be "blind" but once they got their initial winners list, there's nothing from stopping SU from checking out the demos' blogs to make sure they're up to SU's standards (whatever those might be) before any official phone calls or other announcements are made.

I dunno how it works but I would hope that this wouldn't be a factor ... the Artisan Award is all about creativity, not sales productivity (or at least that's what I always believed it was about).
I entered this year but didn't win ... I'll be posting them on my blog starting mid-June on Monday's!
Thanks ladies for all the links to the non winners blogs. The are all winners in my book. Makes you wonder what the winners work is like with all the great things the non winners have on the blogs. TFS!
Thanks for this post of the known winners. I, too have been following the non-winners and have been blown away (as I am every year) as to what doesn't make it! The winners are always FABULOUS, too, I don't know how SU ever picks the winners.
I dropped SU back in the fall, and I was curious to see if I knew any of the names of the winners this year. I also think this was the first year that previous winners could not re-enter.
Thanks for this Good to see guys represented in there! So if there somewhere we get to see the projects! Or does SU use them for promotions or something?
Yes, Angela Williams and Angela Timms is the same person. She is my sideline, and hasn't changed her social security card to her married name, yet, so in SU records she comes up as "Angela Williams". haha, oops!
Heather...YEA YOU!! You go girl and thanks for doing this blog hop!! Cant wait to check it out! Congrats on the AA win and enjoy the shopping spree. This is a great year to win a shopping spree, isnt it?! =)
I cant wait to see the actual projects you winners made, but I am not going to convention, so when you can, make sure to post your pics here and on SC so we can all see them. Thanks!!

Without all that encouragement, I don’t think it would have ever even crossed my mind to enter because after seeing all of the artisan’s work last year, I certainly thought there was NO WAY I could win! After the artisan’s were announced last year, I loved finding the blogs of last year’s Artisans and seeing their work. This year, I have also had a lot of fun finding the Artisan’s blogs and seeing all their fantastic projects.
You're right, I can't tell you how grateful I am to have that shopping spree with all the color renovation and everything!! It is going to be soooo nice!! I am trying my best to hold out until after convention to spend it...but it has only been a few days and I am STRUGGLING!!
I can't wait to post my projects, I'll be sure to share. Thanks so much for your interest!
