what stamp sets are being discontinued in the SU catty? I thought I might break down and order some sets I'm afraid they will disc. for SAB, but when do they annouce the official list?

I'm pretty sure it's released to demo's mid-May. If I remember correctly from last year we got it May 15th, but my memory is not always that great, so I could be wrong.
Can someone please tell me what is the earliest that SU releases their list of retiring Stamp sets? By the time I get it from my SU I only have a few weeks to order and then by then most of what I want is gone. I was just wondering. Thanks.
The retirement list will be out on May 1st. I can tell you that we know of 2 Word sets that are retiring, All Year Cheer II and Tiny Talk. That is NOT insider information, it is listed on the April Special. Check it out at www.stampinup.com

You will have two full months from the time the retiring list is released to demonstrators to get those must-haves on your wish list. If your demo hasn't sent it out by mid-May or so, I see nothing wrong with giving her a friendly call -- it's what I'd expect my small group of customers to do!

Thanks a great big bunch. I am actually debating about joining SU as a hobbyist demo. I'm just not pleased with my demo and there is no one else around. I will be on the look out for the list in May. I usually get the list early till mid June.
