Hi!
I am helping my daughter move to Omaha/Council Bluffs later this week. Are there any great stamp/scrapbook stores there that I should not miss?? Thanks girls!!
There is an Archiver's in Omaha. I'm not sure of the location but you should be able to find it at archiversonline.com. I know it's located in one of the malls but I'm not that familiar with Omaha. Enjoy!
Archivers is in Village Point which is at about 168th and Dodge. There are no stamp stores in Omaha. There are a few smaller scrapbook stores which I can't think of the names of at the moment. One is "The Scrapbook Store" on 72nd street. There's one in the Gretna outlet mall (which isn't much of an outlet mall). And there's one in a shopping center around 132nd street. I think there's another one in north Omaha, but I never went to it. Generally, if you find one the people will help you find the others. They try (or at least used to) to help each other out and such. I wouldn't say any of them are great, but I don't know what your point of reference is. And they certainly look better now that I don't have any local stores!
Archivers is great, and there is also a craft store called Mangelsens... It's on 84th street just north of interstate I-80, and they have a HUGE scrapbook section. I don't go there very often, since it's pretty far from where I live, but I love that place! Any craft you can think of, they have it... ;)
