Which is better with my new stamps? Does anyone know if I am going to ruin my photopolymer (clear) stamps by using Stazon (black) and their cleaner? So far, so good... but I'm worried if, over time, I'm going to degrade the material. Thanks in advance for your input.
I'll be the voice of dissent and say that I have used StazOn ink quite successfully with my clear stamps and have never had a problem with it staining.

I wouldn't use Stazon because I've heard somewhere that it can damage clear stamps.

I appreciate your input Pamela... it's more the StazOn cleaner that concerns me. Thanks

Generally speaking, I've always been advised to avoid Staz-On Cleaner because it does break down the photopolymer.
I usually use chalk ink, pigment ink, or Memento with my clear stamps because those all clean off easily with warm soapy water or Ultra-Clean.
Some inks are going to stain your clear stamps, tho, despite thorough cleaning--doesn't ruin them, however. Dark Brown, red, and green chalk inks seem to stain my clear stamps quite a bit. I just clean them using one of the two methods I mentioned, and they stamp just fine and no transfer issues.
HTH!

Thanks for the good advice Julie... helps a lot!!! I'm going to avoid that cleaner when I'm using my clear stamps. I've just ordered some Memento tuxedo black so I can "worry-no-more". A little staining doesn't bother me... that just shows lots of lovin'...!
I tend to think of which ink to use as more of "what am I stamping?" If it's paper, I'll use a basic ink be it dye or chalk or pigment. But, if I'm NOT stamping paper, that's where the Staz-on come in.
