Default Starbucks Thermal Cup

I don't know if this is the proper place for this question but here goes!

I would like to replace the insert in the Starbucks Thermal Cup with some DSP. Does anyone know how to take the cup apart so that I can do this? I would hate to break trying to take it apart.

Please help!

I believe that you twist off the bottom of the cup -- with little knobs.

I don't know how to take apart as mine isn't a Startbuck but my DIL gave me mine and the insert was amazing. She did a collage of photos of my son and DIL, their dog (my grandogger), and their twin boys (my adorable gandsons). I love this mug and take it to work everyday.

I found theses links with templates that might help you once you figure out how to open the mug.

Which one do you have? The "decorate/scrap your own", or the one with a pre-printed Starbucks design liner?

I honestly don't know if you CAN unscrew the bottom of the pre-printed ones to swap the paper out . . .

I have the one with the printed decorative paper. I guess that's the one that cannot be taken apart. The botton is sealed tight. Oh well!!

Thanks to all of you for responding so quickly! StampHappy - thanks for the links - I will keep them.

Amazon.com has the Aladdin 16 oz tumbler for $8.94. There is a special too.. Buy 4 and get the 5th free and it qualifies for free shipping. (So they ended up being about $7.15 each.) I just bought five. I think this might be a neat gift to give.

I should stay away from SCS until after Christmas. I keep finding things that will be great gifts! I've actually been DONE with buying gifts since October.

Thanks for the information on Amazon.com. It certainly a lot cheaper than Starbucks!
