From what I read you are suppose to use arylic paints applied to your stamps to stamp on walls, not ink. I have done murals using arylics and it's very easy to wipe off a mistake before the paint dries. ( I haven't stamped on walls, I freehand my paintings.)

I stamped on my walls with acrylic paint. Worked really well. The problem was that my walls were pretty textured so I had to go back an fill in what didn't show up on the walls.
I think if you use ink you have one "H" of a time covering it with paint because it just keeps coming through. That's what I've heard anyway.
