Default Stamping onto pearlescent card

Anyone got any tips on how to stop the stamp from slipping over pearlescent card? I'm using Versamark ink and want to emboss with gold EP but every time I press the stamp down on the card it slips and makes a right mess!

Thanks,

Lin x

I had the same kind of trouble with glossy cardstock. Some of it will come with practice, but I found that if I stood while stamping it was easier to place, stamp and lift more directly up and down. Sometimes using the Stamp-a-Majig tool helps as well. HTH

I had the same problem with the pearlescent CS. Jeanie's tip is good -- stand up while stamping. Also -- tape the CS down onto the table.
