Default Stamping / Crafting Magazines?

I'm just starting out with the whole stamping / scrapbooking thing and I've become an avid follower of several blogs, but sometimes having my computer on for inspiration takes away my focus from stamping and/or too much space on my limited craft surface. I was wondering if any of you guys could recommend some magazines for ideas and/or inspiration?

My favorite is a magazine out of the UK called craft stamper. I can normally find it at Barnes & Noble. It is AWESOME. t

Another thing I did when I got started was looking into groups and buying large lots of magazines (places like splitcoast stamps sales boards, ebay and the like) and getting huge lots of older magazines. There's great magazines, even those that are no longer made. They have a ton of great ideas, cards in all different levels (easy-super hard), and all kinds of ideas in both the project pages and on the advertisements!

Lots of us are too much in love with them to just throw them away so we will often give them to another person if they are willing to pay the postage and stuff (cuz yep--they are heavy!! a full size postage box is like what $11 now?) I would rather give them to another crafter than put them in the trash!! Wish I still had mine though you are a month too late!! Hopefully another crafter will see your question and offer to send you some of their older ones to give you some extras to read too.

Cheers, Holley

If anyone is interested in some scrapbook magazines and are willing to pay for postage, then I have some to give away free. I have approximately 25-30 magazines, mostly Scrapbook Etc., a few Scrapbooking and Beyond, and couple Memory Makers. Most of these magazines are from 2008-2010. Contact me if your interested and we will make arrangements.
Thanks,
Linda

I don't subscribe to any one magazine since I like to just get the issues I think I'll enjoy - so having said that - my favorite right now is the special issue from Paper Crafts called Go To Sketches. Even though it's all about sketches, the inspiration for colors and stamps is great!

I'm more into stamping that anything, so I just pick up the odd magazine here and there if something catches my eye.

However, the two that I keep subscriptions to are: Rubber Stamp Madness and Vamp Stamp News...love them! Also recently subscribed to Technique Junkies and am really enjoying it as well.

I get a ton of mags, but what I always keep going back to are my catalogs from Stampin Up and Close To my Heart! You can buy them cheap - spend hours creating ideas in your head from their projects and just have alot of fun with them. You don't have to have the exact products for the cards you can sub in any of the stuff you have and just use the card layout for inspiration. It works great for me!
Plus, a vote from me for Take Ten...tons of ideas!
