Smile Stamping on Cork Board???

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of ink would be good for cork boards. I am making a cork board message unit for my kitchen and I thought that a little stamping on the background would make it more decorative and eye appealing.

Thanks!

I've never tried to stamp on a cork board, but I have painted them with acrylic paint. Maybe using the craft ink would produce a similar result? If you could use paint, it works well on cork.

I've stamped on a cork board. I used pigment ink and it worked great.

I stamped mine with acrylic paint.
Just make sure you clean your stamps right away.

As others have mentioned:

Acrylic Paint (A number of stamping/scrapping manufacturers have now produced paints specifically for the purposes of stamping, such as Ranger and Making Memories--I'll be there's a few more? You could also rely on standard crafting acrylic paint, readily found at chain stores everywhere)

Versacraft Ink (formerly known as Fabrico, by Tsukineko) or SU! Craft Ink

A craft style pigment ink is my preferred, as the clean up is easier than using paint, and much less likely to cake up and dry on the stamp and become difficult to remove without constant/immediate cleaning of the stamp during use.

Good Question. I was just going to use regular old ink.
