Default Stamping On Canvas?

Anyone ever stamp on Artist Canvas ( I am sure someone has, what don't we stamp on)? I want to make something special for myself, I got a stamp that is special to me for certain reasons and I want to use it to do a small Canvas instead of a card, I got a small package of 4x6, Canvas at Micheals, it says that is already Gesso primed for use with all mediums, so I assume it is ready to go.

Any tips on what ink to use, Classic, or Craft and what works for watercoloring it in?

K

I had some 16X20 canvases left over from a french memo board project. I wheeled Leafy Prints using several different shades of green dye ink on one of them. I think the ink stayed wet longer and smeared because it wasn't primed, but I used a paper towel to kind of buff it and smear some of the ink around and muddy up the colors a little. After it dried, I criss crossed some grosgrain ribbon on it. It's hanging in my Rubber Room with card samples on it. It doesn't work as well as a padded french memo board, but I like the look. Sorry I can't post a picture.
