Default Stampin Up Thoughtful Branches

Why is it when Stampin up says you can only get this set for the month of august and than you can no longer purchase. And than wolla its september and you can still purchase. Just like in the past when they say that sets in the mini cattys will not be available after the catty expires and wolla they are in the big catty. Its very aggravating.

I think the idea is that mini catalog products won't continue; but obviously that is subject to change. I assume it's based on popularity. If it's selling really well they might choose to add it to the regular catalog. Or maybe it's the opposite and they are trying to get rid of excess inventory.
I think the main point is that if you REALLY LOVE a set or accessory from a mini catalog you should go ahead and buy it because there are no guarantees it will be available later.
But I do understand how it could be annoying to buy something, probably stretching your budget only to find out later there was no real hurry.

They did reiterate to demos that the set, the dies and the bundle of both will not appear in any catalog going forward, but that the remaining inventory will be available for as long as supplies last. How long that supply lasts is the only question now.

Does it limit your enjoyment enjoyment of the set knowing it's still available 12 days after the deadline? Maybe take the perspective that the more more get it, the more ideas will be shared in galleries and on Pinterest.

I think many would prefer that they make it available at full price while supplies last than to turn it off then put any extras on the clearance rack for much cheaper.

And friendly psa, because I see/hear it in the Midwest too often - Voila | Define Voila at Dictionary.com I won't open a debate on pop/soda or bubbler/water fountain though. ;)

I'm just getting back to purchasing from SU. I sort of rushed to get the Thoughtful Branches set before it was gone and hadn't heard of a one month sale before. However I'm very glad I bought it. I'm making beautiful cards with it and lots of great ideas on Pinterest too. I was pricey but there are many stamps and dies included in the bundle. I think it's a set that I'll use for years.
