I can't remember from last year when the Stampin' Up retirement list comes out. Does anyone know when it comes out and until when can I buy retireing items?
June 1st the retirement list comes out. You have until June 30th to buy from it, but that's only while quantities last. If you really want something, I would order early.

Actually, accessories are only while supplies last after June 1. SU makes their own stamps so they will make as many as they need and fill all orders for stamps until the end of June. So accessories you need to jump on as some sell out FAST but stamps aren't as urgent.

Do you need to order the first day or two? I want to be sure to get what I want if there is anything I'm interested in.

There are many things that sell out fast but you really don't know what. Last year was kind of nuts because of the color renovation. But if there is something you want on the list accessory wise it's best to order early. I don't buy things that are retiring...or I try not to anyway:-)
And don't forget wheels are considered part of the accessories list and will be first come, first served, when they are gone they are gone and they always seem to go fast!

oh, I sure can't afford a craziness like last year, LOL! I had to spend $100 to get all my reinkers that were being disc and it hurt like heck, LOL! But I didn't want to be without any reinkers for my old favorites so I ordered the second the list came out! My SU demo was sure happy, ha ha!

Minders, a friend gave me a SU wheel handle and it is burgundy in color not black like newer wheels. My question is...can I use current wheels and cartridges with this wheel handle or are they different sizes? This has a wheel with hearts on that is not in the book, so I assume retired. I would buy some wheels, if I know I can use this handle and if the new cartridges will still fit it.

I have no idea! As long as I've been around the handles have been black. I would imagine it would work but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else would know....

As a demo, is there someone at HQ that might answer the question for you? I'm not a demo, so I don't have the "in" that some of you have.;)
The wheels are same size, just different colors and probably logos.
Are the ink cartridges the same size too? Thanks for your help. I have never ordered a wheel, although I had planned too. Now I can use this one and just order wheels and cartridges it saved me a little bit of cash. The wheel that is with it is called "Bold Hearts" Not really crazy about it, but it will be nice to get some other wheels I do like.

YOU can call Stampin' Up and ask, you don't have to be a demo:-) And I have no idea what you're talking about so it's better if you can call since you know what the handle looks like:-) They don't mind customers calling at all....

I have both the burgundy and black handles and the are the same. Use the same wheels and ink cartridges.

Thank you....It looks like you now order empty ink cartridges and use ink from one of your reinkers instead of ordering colored inkers? Now I need to get myself a new wheel and a couple of cartridges for basic colors. Can't wait.

Yes, they got rid of the colored cartridges...which kind of made sense since they didn't offer them in all the colors anyway...and all the ones I had dried out super fast anyway! Have fun wheeling!
