Default Stampin Up prices for Canada

This has been discussed before......but has anyone heard if Stampin Up will be adjusting prices in the Canadian catalog? Our exchange rate is right up there now and it dosesn't seem right that we should be paying so much more.

My demo said that the prices in the Canadian catty depends on the exchange rate at the time of printing. Since the catty is printed months ago, the prices may not change too much.

I too, really think they need to drop the prices. The exchange rate has been high for quite a while. It is going to be really hard on the Canadian demo's when you can get things off ebay so much cheaper from the American demos.

Yep, i hope the prices go down. My nearest demo is 30 mins drive to subway+45 mins subway ride+a bus ride!! It is not worth the high price and not to mention 15% tax (in Ontario). I totally buy from ebay or order from US when I'm visiting or someone is visiting me from US.

Even a couple of months ago the exchange rate was pretty good. I hope they change a great deal or ......!!!! I sometimes think the Canadian market gets forgotten.

I am certainly not holding my breath. It'll be a lovely surprise if the prices are reflective of the actual rate of a couple months ago since it has been so much better!

That said, I'm sure SU is also thinking a little more long term - what if the exchange rate goes down the tubes half way through the catty year and they start losing money (trust me I'm using that term losely!).

still hopeful
not expecting:rolleyes:

well, I for one really hope they change the prices. Our economy has been quite strong for the past year, especially in comparison to the US's. Whether that remains for the next year, I don't know. I hope to get my starter kit in July so I'm hoping the prices change!
