Hey I just wanted to share about how excited I am for my tonight's party!!! I'm hosting a Stampin Up party and a friend of mine is a demo. I just got the head count for how many people coming. So far I have 15! Yay! And then a gal wanted me to do $80 worth of scrapbook pages so I did that (just finished a few minutes ago) and then another gal wanted me to do photo tile coasters (another $20) Now I have $100 to spend on stampin Up goodies from my party PLUS the free hostess set, merchandise, and sellabration! THEN my husband told me that I could take $100 out of our checking account so now I have TWO hundred to spend!! Whoooo Now I gotta look thru catalog and pick out sets. I already have all colors cardstock, classic ink and craft ink. I also have markers as well... so now I can really get STAMP sets!! I'm just so excited!!!

Am excited for you! Just think by yourself, when you spend that $200 you already earn 4 SAB sets. With 15 folks coming, oh my! I suspect you will have between a $300 party to a $700 party.... at least one more SAB and perhaps 2....
Oh I can't wait to hear your results!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!! I think SAB parties are the best! I always come home with alot of loot.
Last summer I had my stampin Up party and only 7 people were there and total sales was $900!!!!!!!! Crazy! I got all of hostess sets and lots of free merchandises. With this party, 3 of those 7 ladies aren't coming but I still have 15 gals. I bet not all of them will spend something though.
I'm jealous too LOL! I could give ya my list cause it sounds like you need help picking out what ya want. LOL!

Wow!! Lucky you!!! I don't even know that many people who stamp!! My good friend is a demo, & she's always asking me to have a party. I know a total of 2 people who stamp, & 1 of them is her, lol!!!
My goodness, that's a big party. I know of only four or five people who stamp and will attend a party. I can't imagine being let loose at an SU party with all of that money. Sounds like fun!

congrats, have a GREAT time picking your goodies. Be sure to look at the punches, as that is something that really helps *make* the cards, also look at the ribbons, they are a great value and also add tons of *punch* to the cards!

How funny...I'm not worried about what SHE bought, I wanna know how much OTHER people bought so I know how much FREE stuff she got! I'm ALL about free stuff!
Wow! with your own money, you have a great start to your workshop. With it being SAB, most people will probably order at least $50. That will be awesome! Just make sure you get those craft and rubber scissors so you can cut all the rubber with ease!
Okay I ordered $200 worth of stamps and I am qualifed to get ALL SAB sets! Then I had some free merchandise and I got MORE sets of stamps. I ordered like 5 backgrounds, and many sentiment sets. Plus I get to choose 2 from Level 1 and 1 from Level 3 hostess. I already have all Level 1 sets except one which was Warmest Regards so I picked that one. And I picked Acrygle (?) set from Level 3! I already have Love It from Level 2 from xmas.
17 people showed up last night and the house was PACKED and had 4 tables out and we each made 2 cards. Thank goodness my mom was nice enough to let me host parties at her house because my house is WAY too small! We would take turns stamping in groups, 2 groups eating and chatting in kitchen and living room while 1 group make cards and then we rotate. Worked out good.
The demo said there will be 3 (including her) that still needs to order stuff and will close the party on Sunday or Monday. Demo said she will be ordering marker set!!! (that's a big one) And then 1 lady is going to order entire set of classic ink pads (all 4 families) and dunno about the other lady. So that will put me in the higher bracket of free stuff. I might will end up getting one or two sets from every level of regular hostess and add more free merchandise. It's CRAZY!
Wowsers!!! You're one lucky stamper! And maybe I am a wee bit envious... but mostly in awe! I had a great party last time I hosted, 1000$ in sales but this outranks by a fair bit!
Now I gotta figure out how to send everybody out of the house for a week while I soak in my new 20 something sets and play!!! Oh crap I should have ordered a KAI scissor since I will be busy trimming all those sets!
Oh by the way I will be having TONS of nice clean new wood blocks. I unmount all of my stamps. I guess I better post the blocks up for sale once I receive my sets.
So the demo is adding her order of markers onto your party? Since I am a demo this sounds like a crazy thing, but to each their own, and it does make you a very happy customer!! Congrats on the large party let us know the grand total when you close.
Yup you heard right my demo is going to order a set of markers. And another lady is thinking about ordering an entire set of classic ink pads (all 4 families) and then another lady, dunno. I will definitely let you guys know the grand total which I will find out either tomorrow or monday. Man I so can't wait to play with the sellabration sets and my many new sets! My husband was like wow what the heck?! He walked in just as I was making my order ($200 worth) and he almost fainted but he walked away! :twisted:
